I wish you'd do a whole video on how you painted that Blood angel, or chaos marine or Zoat. Those are all fabulous.

Loved the example of contrast paints use as a tint shown on the other model for reference thanks

That was a really great video. I was trying to think about painting the under suit with contrast and so this was really helpful. Can I ask though why you used the lahmian medium instead of the contrast medium when unifying the highlights with the bulk of the armour panels?
    Again top video!

Thanks. Yeah, I really should have mentioned that. You can definitely use either, but I just prefer Lahmian for bits like this. Contrast is designed to really collect pigment in recesses, and I really dont trust it or my brush control for glazing. I've found Lahiam medium works well as more of a thinner and I just like how it handles more for this task.

I love contrast paint and having being using Leviadon Blue as a recess shade for my Ultramarines. Much more subtle than a traditional shade like Nuln Oil.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. In all honesty, I dont have many videos on my channel at all. You could get through em all fairly quickly if you wanted... 😉

I use a fleshtearers glaze to make my word bearers pop, it's one of the most understated uses for contrast and more people need to know it.

Would you say its a good idea to use leviadon blue+lahmian medium on a mini painted with night lords blue or kantor blue?

I wish to thank you for this video.
I appreciate that YOU do YOUR HOBBY.
It keeps me inspired to keep doing it as well.
I have seen an illogical transformation over the past 6 months from the channels Auspex Tactics and Tabletop Tactics .
Grand channels at first but then the disrespectful change over . Auspex Tactics is flat out promoting alternative 3d Printed models for other gaming platforms called iron enforcers. Also , what is allowed on the channel at the same time is hundreds to hundreds of subscribers bitching and complaining about pricing and corporate greed and misdirection of GW on WH40K . It is extremely difficult to have seen this change and I have lashed out at the channel verbally with disbelief and disgust.
Tabletop Tactics is flat out promoting white f$&king weasel studios to commission artists to do anyone’s miniatures….why the f&$k get into the hobby in the first place?
I have just stumbled across your channel and like very much that you have mentioned JH in tutorial videos. You have applied the techniques very well .
I will very much slowly experiment with thus way to paint my Black Templar Army and my pile of potential CSM Army.
Sorry for the rant but I simply cannot understand the direction of both channels have turned away from the actual hobby itself . Needless to say I have after nearly a year and a half of their channels I have unsubscribed because of their crystal clear intentions to steer away from the foundation of what GW has created .
    The Emperor Protects .
    Praise be .
