    The variation of dumbbells is extremely useful for a small person like me czcams.com/users/postUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 But the dumbbell size being large it's hard to do certain exercises like deadlift ( I have to have my hands and legs a bit wider to accommodate the size of the DB )Otherwise happy with the purchase. No excuse not to lift weight when it's snowing outside.

    That metal round container that you put the wet cement in,what is the name?
    And you didn't apply a gun to the handles of the dumbells before combining them,if I want to do hammer curls won't they fall off?

      That is slim zinc plate. We can found this in any hardware store 🙏🙏 no worries you can do that also they won't fall off.

      1:2 ratio is really strong (cement:sand) for example if you want to make 10 kg dumbbell put 4 kg cement and 6kg sand.

      Thanks 🙏 but I can’t tell you that how much water I added but cement and sand ratio is 1:3. You can put water until they will mixed well.

    i went in a sport shop and they told dumbell price is 150 Indian rupees per kilogram. thats 1500 per dumbell for 10 kg. too expensive. im thinking of making my own

    i did the math and each one of those cylinders weigh around 2.54 kg, so the dumbell weighs only 5 kg. correct me if im but i don't think thats 20 kgs in total....

      Yeah in total 12 kg sand and 8 kg cement. If you want more strong dumbbell then you can put 11kg sand and 9 kg cement

      If you put dr.fix it or some chemical to dry out fast no need to wait for long time but if you don’t put you have to wait for least 8,9 hrs

      If you put small stones that’s okay. Bigger stone means bigger chance to damage . It won’t be durable.

      Don’t put stones or pebbles they will make joints weak and it will break easily

      Actually i found that one in store room. But you can use pvc pipe easy to get and that can give you comfortable grip.
