Your video is fantastic. I have seven hydrangea bushes and they all produced mass amount of hydrangeas this year. I fertilized in May and they are blooming profusely. I’ve been able to give away lots of bouquets to all the neighbors and friends. This is a good tip. Thank you so much🎉🎉❤

Hello from Bedford, PA! We've been getting scorched here from temps in the 90s and mandatory water restrictions in the homes and businesses. Collecting water to use in our gardens has become an artform.
Oh wow, we had crazy high temps here too. Hopefully the weather got a little better . It finally cooled down here .

Thanks for a great video. I believe I have Annabelle hydrangeas and I have some pink ones. Last winter I left some of the dried blooms on bush and sprayed them a beautiful blue for winter joy!!
That’s a great idea!! What type of paint did you use? Just regular acrylic paint?

Jersey girl here living in Virginia! Love hydrangeas! So glad I found you! I have been having issues with deer, and I just found out there are certain plants you can't successfully plant with hydrangeas. So disappointing! I have several of them ready to plant and now I find out it will be fruitless to try! 🤣
What are the plants ? I’m surprised there are ones that won’t do well with hydrangeas . Now I’m super curious .

Thank you so much for all the tips for hydrangeas! I really hope that they help for my next year’s growth. I really don’t know what I’m doing. My hydrangea bushes are huge and beautifully green, but maybe 3-4 flowers on only one bush. I’ll cross my fingers for next year!
Try holding off on fertilizing them. Sometimes too much fertilizer causes a lack of blooms .

Thank you for the great tips. I just started growing hydrangeas. This was my first year with blooms I have it out front by my front window. My question is your leaves are so beautiful on your hydrangeas. How do I stop from little creatures biting into them? My leaves have a lot of holes in them, what can I use to make them healthy again.
Sometimes leaf cutter bees make small holes in leaves. These little holes should not harm the plant . I have a lot of leaf cutter bees here and they usually prefer my rose leaves but do sometimes get the hydrangeas . I usually just leave them alone . If you think that your leaves are being affected by a different bug , I would bring a branch with leaves to my local garden center and ask them how to treat the hydrangea to get rid of them 🌸

You are very welcome . I find that most hydrangeas like being planted in well drained soil where they receive at least 6-8 hours of morning sun followed by afternoon shade . Smooth and limelight hydrangeas can take more hours of sun than Mopheads .

hi i am new to hydrangeas, at the end of summer or next spring do i need to trim everything back or just leave it alone?

What do I do with my Limelight that is thin on one side, it's not growing as many limbs on one side as the other? It is not against a fence or anything.
And is it possible to move a well established hydrangea and not kill it? (my Limelight) I will need to move it for a new fence being put in.
For an Annabelle hydrangea, cutting mid summer doesn’t encourage more blooms that year does it? Or what about for the PW Incrediball version?? I feel like I saw someone do that in a video with a smooth hydrangea and I was confused as I didn’t think they rebloomed.
