@@kevinbuff4684 hi kevin, got it. What have you done so far?
Thank you for making this video!
Thanks so much for making this
Thanks for the tips! Very concise and practical!
You're welcome, John, thanks so much for watching!
Helpful thank you
Thanks so much for watching, Rose...did you run a GI MAP?
Can I take laxatives before the sample is taken?
I am currently taking digestive enzymes and betaine HCL. Should I with hold that a few days before the test?
No, those are usually ok to continue.
Should one stop any probiotics or biofilm disruptors or antimicrobials, before taking the test or can one continue without affecting the result. Also, I just stopped a 2 week course of Rifaximin. Can I test now or should I wait a bit? Thanks for the video.
Hi Sonja, the lab recommends waiting two weeks after finishing antimicrobials (including antibiotics) to test. You can continue to use probitics, and biofilm busters often help improve testing results.
@@ConfluenceNutrition Thanks for the info. That helps a lot☺
@@sonjas.8911 Glad I could help...
Thanks for the info! On the form do I need to provide credit card information if doctor checked bill Clinician?
If it says bill to clinician, probably not. If you have questions, call your provider and ask.
@@ConfluenceNutrition do you work with people who have osteoporosis?
@@taniadow60 Hi Tania, I work with all kinds of people with many types of conditions, but the thing I help people with is IBS and/or SIBO specifically. I don't have expertise around osteoporosis.
Do you Fed ex the box back with al of the other stuff?
Yes, the kit comes with a box and a return shipping envelope, I believe it's FedEx.
Mam can you please tell me if it's useful for symptoms of IBS
Yes, absolutely!
Can you read the test and then offer ways to eliminate any parasites?
Yes, I do offer a one-time session to review test results. You can book that here if you like: p.bttr.to/3MygN9x
I AM FROM MONTERREY, MEXICO . CAN YOU SEND THE KIT AND ALSO CONSIDERING THAT IT CAN BE PAID BY BANK TRANSFER?
Hi Gerardo, unfortunately, I can't just ship to you without an established client-practitioner relationship, and I no longer do test-only set ups. And beyond that, I don't think I can ship a kit to Mexico :( Sorry I can't be of more help.
i drank a bunch of saltwater to help me poop, do i now have to wait 2 days until i make the GI MAP Stool test?
it would probably be best to wait until your normal, average bowel movements return.
Does it matter where you are in your cycle for females? Like menstruation?
No, it doesn’t matter, but you may get better results on the parasite screens from collecting near the full moon.
Ooh that’s perfect! Does it have to be on the exact day or just around it?
@@integrativetiara2140 Not exactly, but say 1-2 days before to 1-2 days after. Somewhere in that range should be the best.
@@ConfluenceNutrition Thank you! Such a big help
@@integrativetiara2140 You're welcome!
They gave me two biles
Is it possible it was a different brand? Some stool tests provide multiple vials.
