Who here did not pay attention to a single second of this video because you started reading the comments instead ?
Oh yeah the video. The video I’m supposed to be watching to learn more about ADHD. That video.
@@AbiJaay You got me there 😭
That is me
Hi :)))
Wait what is this about-
😂
The irony of trying to pay attention to this video as someone with ADHD 😅
I turned the speed up to 1.5x because yes, this guy talks way too slowly for someone with ADHD to follow. Thank goodness for video speed adjustment options!
@@musicianatheart EXACTLY what I did! 1.5x FTW
@@Only1SapphireDiamond I went 1.75 😅
Too slow, got side tracked
Had to go rewind like 10 times because I got distracted and my mind went somewhere else. Took me 14 minutes to watch 😅
Helpful tip: Play at 2x speed
genuinely thank you, didn’t even occur to me lol
He talks sooo slowww 😂
Hahahaaaaa
😂😂😂😂
Thank you!!!!
2:08 for the assessment breakdown
Thank you
Bless ya lol!!!
oommgg youre the best
I watched for a min then went to clean the bathroom, do laundry and came back only to not pay attention to the rest
Wow, I've been engaging in CBT for years now and had no idea it was helping with ADHD. Usually just makes my nuts hurt
Good one
I zoned out 8 times watching this
He is boring
Only 8? I think I zoned out over 20 times🫤
Took me twenty minutes to watch had to keep going back every time I zoned out 😅
I think I zoned in 8 times 😆
Was this the adhd test?
I only paid attention starting minute 2 and then got bored again and started replying to your comment 😂
Haha yeah we all failed 😂
Ha ha, I’m just shouting GET ON WITH IT!
Very slow speaker. Not sure if it’s just me, but he covered a good amount regardless :) thanks for the info
I put the video on x2
Read it helps
I done so well up to 3.45mins🤦🏼♀️
@Amy B
Winners never quit.
☺️
Longest 7 minutes of my life but informative nonetheless
I just realized midway I was daydreaming about something else and not paying attention at all
Me too. I can't stop thinking about how slow his speaking is
lmaoo not me skipping video to get the main point his talking speed irritated me 😂 I'm done
Me too 😂
Can someone summarize this on bullet points? I zoned out a lot of times and got distracted by the comment section

- The follow-up appointment is typically 20 minutes and may involve completing unfinished work or taking first steps in a management plan.
- Treatment options for ADHD may include practical/psychological supports, psychological therapy, and medication.
- Harley Therapy can be contacted with any questions or to schedule an appointment.
😁
. Thank you!!
Who else sped up the video twice to keep their attention on it?
can someone summarize the main ideas? I ve been daydreaming while watching this video.
great video very informative, thank u for sharing. what are the specific questionnaires and screening tools used for those with suspected ADHD? and do these vary with age of client? thanks again.
Bloody hell. I tried to pay attention but this was like pulling teeth, even sped up I couldn't keep focus. I'm sure whatever he said was informative though lol
How the hell am I supposed to find out what the assessment is like when the dude is talking so slow? I'm going to try again at 2x speed.
Much better at 2x speed.
Thank you so much for sharing this video with all of us. I really enjoyed your demeanor and obvious groundedness.
I am curious to know if there has been any talk, or studies of micro-dosing psilocybin mushrooms. Not looking for a high of any sort. Only a sense of well being, and functionality. Btw, I am an untreated 78yr male, and was diagnosed with ADHD 23yrs ago, but wasn’t qualified for the financial aspect. Although I have no doubt that this was onset at the traumatic birth, for my self and mother.
👆👆look up that handle my plug got all psychedelic drugs shrooms, dmt, lsd, meds, gummies,THC,CBD 🍀.💊🍫🍄🍀….
I find when taking stimulants, both psychedelic and non-psychedelic, they do help lessen the ADHD symptoms. There are many other benefits to microdosing psilocybin also. Having a larger dose now and then can also help with mental health, inner peace and spirituality if that is important to you.
@@c12onnorcan you recommend where to get them and what to get??
@@husshhhussh easiest way is to grow your own mushrooms or truffles, there are loads of guides and videos on youtube :)
And the cost is how much? Its ridiculously expensive to get a ADHD diagnosis privately which feels unfair when NHS waiting lists are up to 7 years if you can convince your GP that you think you have ADHD.
I think I paid 350-450 or so for the initial appt years ago
7 years! Is that what you have been told from your GP?
I paid £1500 in Oxford for private assessment.
I have mine in a few weeks. £700...😢 then there's the private prescription charge until you're stable on the meds
@dollydaydreamz7149 it is definitely worth it. I will have about 3 appointments ( £200 each) after my assessment to check how I am adjusting to meds, and after, it will only cost £9 a month once care is passed to the GP. My first appointment went really well, and I finally felt seen and that someone understood my chaotic brain. Now I am waiting for an appointment with a psychiatrist, and I will be good to go to start a less chaotic life 💜
I’m 42 and was only diagnosed in the last 18 months but the place that diagnosed me didn’t do any Ov this it was more Ov hwre is some tablets I’ll see you in 3 months
What's ov?
Im here because I'll be taking a test. I would have lost attention if it wasn't for the 2x button
He’s talks so slowly 👀 I was straight in the comments looking for the way to get to the point
At 5:30 I realised I wasn't paying attention to this video.
I have taken multiple ADHD tests and quizzes online and all have been positive, I really want to get assessed but I don’t know how to talk to my parents 😭
i felt the same way until i hinted at it and my family is like "Cool so, can they fix you?"
Talk to your doctor. They will give you a referral.
Omg I’m in the exact same situation!! We will figure it out some day😭
If you are not a minor, you don't have to! Please know that nutrition, therapy and lifestyle changes can help so do not give up :)
@@nycolewithawhywhat kind of docs bc my main doc gave me referrals and a few said they don’t do it and I’m stuck
Its a very good and informative video but anyone else speeded it up? Drove me mad a little to wait to finish a sentence... (not being disrespectful)
6:53 Dew Course. Thats outside London, right?
Set to 1.5x
Thank u so much sir your video is very information ❤❤ thanks alot.....
The comments on this page made me feel like we are some sort of club and wouldnt it be fun to get together.. as long as we dont forget, or like me get lost driving there.
If this dude talks any slower I'm going to lose my mind!
When I was told about needing to get an ADHD assessment done with a neurologist, I was picturing those white sticky pads with wire coming out of them pressed to my temples.
Not me wanting to know and then skipping ahead and learning nothing.
Loving these comments self diagnosed I always speed up voice messages didn't even know I could on you tube! ❤
how accurate are these tests? I think I have ADHDenial but I'm booked for an assesment
how did it go? mine is at 530
This video needs a speed of atleast 2.5 or 3 minimum. 😂😂 Reading the comments…. only to find out i’m not the only one. The irony.
Looking at the comments atp bc I’m impatient
Where can I go to get a proper diagnosis and actual analysis done because I feel like I may have it. I just need to be 100% sure because I’m not trying to use it as a fucking excuse.
I thought that in the first two minutes!
anybody else speed this up to 1.5 to be able to concentrate on it 😭
I think I’ve found my people.
with someone looking to get an assessment this whole thing sounds drawn out and daunting with some nice anxiety thrown in. I left thinking maybe i am just better with some helium! I mean what am i expecting from the appointment!! you tell me what i can expect ? hate that question, that list is a 100 lines long and i know some of it cant be changed unfortunately. promised my Mrs i would also try CBT or what ever you call it, as we are are the thin line line and i am at breaking point. I also dont believe in talking much, to me its black and white, talking don't change the reality of things.
Did he not know where the cameras were?
Spoke to slow and my anxiety acted up
No wonder these charge by the hour. Seen how slow he talks?
What was he talking about again💀
Seriously, I'm looking for a summary or something in the comments 😭
Put some emotion into it man!
the irony of this video 😂
I disagree with others here because i feel like i can absorb the information better because he's talking slower.
He talks so slowly that 1.75 speed sounds normal. This pisses me off so much
Omgggggg sooo slowwwww
LOLLLLLL I was thinking that
@Jesse Zabko
If I could live my life with infinite adept facility, I doubt I'd be seeking a professional diagnosis of ADHD.
😉
same 😭i skipped the video and closed the video then came back laughing at myself i better go and get treated 🚶
I just skip through if it's slow/boring.
@@beanieyoobi 🤣😂🤣😂 I’m starting to think it was intentional because I’ve got it on 2X speed and I’ve zoned out several times ☺️🤭
I switched off 1 minute in
The nerve of this man to talk so slow
😆
“Turn to page… 394”
1.5 is better
Is he deliberately talking in a way that someone with ADHD would nor be able to focus?
What?
I skipped to 3:11 because I already got bored
This guy speaks so slowly and doesn't really give any specific information - blah blah blah
Man can this guy talk any slower?
lmao i had to increase playback speed to about 1.75
Can’t spend the time required to listen to.😢
I wish I had a spare two grand lying around. Oh well.
1.25x speed
I cnt even pay attention to him
Man is so slow at talking
Is he trolling us??talk faster!!
HES TALKING TOO SLOWWWW
Can. You. Talk. Any. S l o w e r ? OMG
He is boring
This guy is putting me to sleep. He talks like BORING
terrible
Speak faster please
I stopped listening to this man when I focused on the orchids. 🪷🌸
