I remember this couple, that's Bradley Charles "Charlie" Cooper Sr and Stefani Germanotta Sr singing at the 1988 Grammy Awards!! Why did they pause that video! I wanna watch the performance above.
Oh my god that moment was gorgeous. I seriously thought they were going to kiss! My friends and I were yelling at the TV so loudly my mother thought someone had died. I miss the 80s
@@EletOfficial I saved for 1 or 2 months to get my first cassette XD And saved even longer for the first CD XD while the players were 2nd hand from my much older cousins XD
I had this soundtrack on cassette and wore it out playing it daily. Very hard to come across this classic these days, thanks for uploading. This movie was the big hit of the 80's.
This song was #1 on the charts the year I was born. This song knocked Madonna’s “papa don’t preach” from the #1 spot and was Lady Gaga’s come back hit in the mid 80’s. It is rumored there was a rock like duet recorded with Cher and Cyndi Lauer that was scrapped Some say the original cut of the song still exist!!!
I had the 8-track of this years ago but lost it when my Ford Pinto was rear-ended and caught on fire! So happy to hear it again 30 years later. Brings back so many great memories of Girbaud jeans and parachute pants...
1986 ! I remember that there were 2 couples of actors/singers competing for the most famous celebrity couple. Lady Gaga/Bradley Cooper and Madonna/Sean Penn of course !!
I danced on it at my prom back in the 80's... That's when I made out for the first time with my boyfriend of back then. We now have 3 childs, dancing on the 2018 version!
I'll never forget that epic performance they did of this on Solid Gold, it was such a defining moment in television music history. Times were so better then.
Oh gawd... this takes me back... Summer 1987... Underage in the clubs in Miami, tearing up the dance floors coked out of my mind, hooking up with random nameless bimbos... That was the life. It seemed like it would never end. That cover version by what's-her-name and what's-his-face that came out a while ago is a downer, though.
Recuerdo haber grabado esta canción en un cassette. Tuve que esperar un buen rato a que sonara en la radio y darle REC rápidamente. Era el año 1987. Buena época :')
This was in my running playlist for a long time on a cassette tape of songs I recorded from the radio. I didn't have to wait long to record it as this one was everywhere back then. I'm sure the tape is still in my Sony Walkman somewhere in my garage.
I remember this being on the soundtrack for Mask, no not that movie with Jim Carey, but the Eric Stoltz and Cher movie about how so many were *shallow* in how they viewed the poor guy!
Another 80's remix please 😍 I think I must have listened this version 40 times ... (I don't like the original ...) In this quarantine and single period it really cheers. kiss from France
This song revolutionized the music industry in the 80s Madonna even sang it in one of her concerts while mistaking the Lyrics in Papa Don’t preach and said it was a song she wrote and gifted it to Ms. Gaga and Mr.Cooper as they went to her for advice on a hit song till this day! You can hear it on the Radio 🥺 wow the 80s
This movie and every song in it was so bad I wanted to gouge my eyes and ears out to escape watching it. Thank God you fixed at least this one song. You are doing god's work my brother, saving lives, and ears.
I was made in the 80's. Listening to your remixes are awesome. I loved 80's music since I was young. My mother raised me right, in the music area. Unlike the majority of my generation. Keep up the great work. If this was released around the time I was conceived there is no dought in my mind I would have been a twin. My parents were crazy; still are.
man, your work is a blessing for all us the 80s fanatics, please keep up doing this i so hate the original and sad music in general and i so love your remix
I actually believed that Rhianna had it in 80's when I first discovered this channel. Then I realised that the versions are remixed recently by this channel which is great, great!
R.I.P Bradley S. Cooper 1956-1989 A great singer, married to Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, had lots of hits. Like, “Dancing Floor” (1984) and “Shallow” (1986), but he sadly died from a drug overdose on February 23, 1990. His wife was extremely depressed after he died. She committed suicide in 2002, knowing the fact that she was infamous due to new singers like Avril Lavigne and Nelly, and killed herself. Saddest thing ever.
She wasn't happy in this modern world so they had to bring her back to the 80's ....
hahaha 😆
😂😂
Lol
Tell me, who is happy in this modern world? No one...
The funny thing is 'A Star is Born' has been remade several times, roughly once every 2 decades or so...
Imagine the possibilities!
:)

Too bad they broke up 😭😭😭😭they're such a power couple in 1988
They said he peed in his pants on stage that night. But I don't remember that. That must be some kind of Mandela Effect.
Word of rumor has it that Stefani "Antoinette" Germanotta is actually a vampire who came here from the old world. Around the Norweigan region.
I remember being a wild teen and shoplifted this cassette.
Shit. I stole the 8-track.

Too bad you didn’t make a copy on a maxell blank tape as a backup.
I remember watching him on the show "Alias" that came out in the early 70s lol. He played the friend of Sydney Bristow

Oh yeah.... 😎
Typical 80's ! Love it
The whole song is a masterpiece! Author of this remix is genius! How is he done it?
It actually gave me chills
Yessirr
One of the best movies of 1986
Katy Remixed aah yes. I remember when me and my friends snuck inside and watched the whole thing! We did end up being arrested but it was worth it!
This hit #1 in Australia in October 1986.
You've mastered the art of making things groovy af
the 2018 remake of this really didn't do justice to the 80s original
i totally feel ya
The original movie is way older than the '80s which is also a remake
Bradley Cooper sounds exactly like he belongs in the 80s. Love this

OMG!! What a trip I just ever had...
I like your cocky smile, Matt.
Just take me back already!
this brings me back to the night of 1986 when i danced at bloc1 and met my man. ❤
He's a woman now, I hear. Good for her! You were her gateway into the feminine .
You’ve helped fill the void after tronicbox disappeared
love the reference

Truly, the standout song from the Top Gun soundtrack.
No, no you don't understand. This is EVERYTHING. All that is and all that was. P U R E B E A U T Y
Loved this remix so much that I prefer this one over the original one. But, please, don't get me wrong, the original is beautiful and I love it too.

Luckily I had this song on an illegal mix tape. I cannot remember touring through 1987 France without this song playing in my head.

I wish I can travel through the time and hear this on live performance
Ahhh this takes me back July 1986 when this song knocked Feargal Sharkey out of the #1 Spot! 👏👏👏
Would love to hear this as an 80s power ballad too!
Oh, the 1980s, when Pet Shop Boys produced Gaga!
If PSB were to produce this it would have been echoes
anyone remember when they did this on Top of the Pops?!
Damn this was MEGA! Wish music still sounded like it did in my day!
I have been searching this lost track everywhere. Thank you for uploading this rarity!
I wish they would still make music like this ... these are the real vibes
I still cant get over how this is lone of the best 80's song of all time. /repeat

I remember this was my favorite song on my Walkman
that was fun, but I think you missed an opportunity by not making it an eighties bombastic power ballad
It could have been like Open Arms!
No this is PERFECT!!!
I was looking for that comment !!

Remember when the cassette came out! Used to go to skate while listening!
I remember this, I was 12 in 1986! lol
