  • The Alley Pass (also known as 'inlane pass/transfer', 'return lane pass/transfer') is used to pass a ball from one flipper to the other, by shooting the ball from the tip of the flipper, into the opposite inlane. It is a scary, and often deadly move. The ball is easy to lose by flipping too late or by hitting the slingshot post.
This skill is also called 'Shatzing the inlanes', because Neil Shatz (who is one of the best pinball players in the world) is known for using the skill.
    Played on:
    Funhouse (Williams)
    Attack From Mars (Bally)
    Scared Stiff (Bally)
    Doctor Who (Bally)
    The Addams Family (Bally)
Including some real slow motion footage.

This is such a hard move for me to pull off, it almost always ends in a drain or losing control of the ball. Thanks for the tips!
