I remember getting a catalog from Ocean Shores Video back in the day. There were hundreds of martial arts films you could buy... They were not cheap,... its amazing to see most of those films are available here on CZcams... For those of us "OG's" who went to the Fox theater on Woodward Avenue in Detroit, or whatever town you lived in that showed these films, Saturdays were awesome... THREE films to sit through, followed by kung-Fu fights all the way home, lol... those were some fun days... I miss those days and those who are no longer with us from that time... I think that is one reason we keep watching these.. not just for the films themselves, but also to remind us of those really good days, and those we will never forget... be safe, everyone... Happy Fathers Day to all the dads..

Qué buen recuerdo. Ví esta película a los 7 años, allá por 1991. Siempre pasaban este tipo de películas en TV y yo las veía juntó a mi padre(+) que era bien fan, eran de los bonitos ratos que compartíamos. Esta intro y esa música se me quedaron marcadas en la memoria. Me parece increíble haberla encontrado después de tantos años!

Yes this movie is ok with the basic Fighting form of conditioning fighting the water training and posing it's similar to Beijing opera if you want to see John at his best watch Snake in the Monkey's Shadow the drunken boxing isn't bad either or Wilson the foot doctor Tong he even said it was one of his favorite films in an interview his footwork and snake boxing is amazing i saw him perform spiritual style it was very impressive see him really perform with Cliff Lok in Kung Fu Genius

One of the best 70-80's chinese kung fu movies i've ever seen. The opening credit scene...these two guys look great.
These clowns couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag.
A wrestler with two or three months of wrestling experience could easily beat these clowns 😜.

I don't share that idea, Shaw brother's movies are filmed in studios, i much prefer open air big scenic natural backdrops with foliage, mountains, rivers and real city dwelings that show age and history not some studio props. To me SB movies are second rate and lack the authentic feel of chinese countryside and chinese cities.
