I get chills when I see and hear him perform...this one just brings me to tears every time...he's a truly gifted man that God has put on this earth to show what the true meaning of music is about.
wow. if u guys have seen them live,.. u know how true and great the music is LIVE that they can somehow, just the two of them, put out. dam nothing but respect. thanks for makin my life better each day just by listening. lol. much love
I hated DMB and then one morning in 2003 when I was 19 the video for this song came on while I was smoking a bowl and I was just blown away. It had nothing to do with being high I just couldn't believe what I was hearing and seeing I just knew I had to have this album. Every song was great and I think its one of the best albums of the 2000s. Im still not too big on the band but I like them better than I did and I still listen to this album fairly regulary. Im just glad I was up early that day
How come 5 of the comments on the front page are all about how people disliked this video? Who cares? Let them dislike it if they want... how about instead of worrying what they feel or think, why don't you just appreciate that you yourself got the chance to enjoy a song that moves you. If it moves nobody else, so be it. Damn.
ufff.... que version.... no se quien es mejor si dave por tremendo tema o tim por tremendo arreglo... excelente!!, no se como pueden haber 8 no me gusta... sera de la nueva generacion de regueton.. :/
the origin of ring around the rosie goes back to the dark ages, it was a song sung for anyone who had contracted the plague and died. so just put two and two together
Ring around the rosie was a rhyme composed (supposedly by children) during the events of Black Death. It's actually a really really disturbing song if you sit down and look at the lyrics while keeping in mind when and why it was written. All in all it's about death, so I'm sure that's what Dave was getting at
ring around the rosie was made up during the plague - people used to sing that song and dance in circles till they died when they had. the bumps from the plague were a black ring aroung a red spot - hence, ring around the rosie. so the line in the song is a reference to the black plague
@headstock48 if u think led zeppelin is not a good live band u shud be out of ur head....they are one of the most amazing live bands ever...i mean ever....they inspired thousands and their live versions were very different to their studio versions...jam oriented..and this is one band in the modern generation that i can be satisfied with..truly amazing band this band is..but if u really think led zeppelin wasnt a good live band u shud seriously be mad..
@pebacowboy your comment shows the view of modern music, its a shame, you dont have to have a lot to have good music, sometimes it works (Dave Matthews Band and the Eagles), and sometimes it doesnt. However, its not necessary, this amazing music is possible because these are two people who use skill, they dont auto-tune, they dont fix anything, if they make a mistake, they practice, Dave is playin Rhythm and bass, with a percussive strum, and Tim is fillin in any empty spots with fills or solos
@Carolinglyle Sorry, but my comment was sarcasm about the other commercial bands that exist in the world. I admire the music of the Dave, and I am student music on Brazil.
@jdubwa he said at a concert i went to that he hasnt "smoked in years" cuz he sniffed the big smoke cloud and said into the mic "damn y'all are makin my nose run" lol
