- In this video, I asked you guys for a bunch of bootleg Minecrafts that you used to play as kids. Some of these were actually alright, like Survivalcraft! But others... oouh... Not so much...
Me and Block Facts actually went on the Multicraft servers but I wasn't recording, so I can confirm catlandia is real lol

The good old days when I didn't have Minecraft pocket edition and had to play world craft...
At least you didn't played BlockCraft3d like me
World craft was alright until they changed the mob textures and added the weird mobs after they already had zombies and the pumpkin guys
SAME OMG
or MINECRAFT GAME
@@ThatFlugiGuy same lol
I remember when I played Survival craft quite often before we actually had Minecraft, it was actually pretty good for a ripoff, and there were some legitimately great builds that people made
I also remember you could change its texture pack, there was a full list as well, and there was literally a texture pack that was marked "Minecraft" and what I remember most was that it changed the Diamond tools into gold, and being the SkydoesMincraft fan I was it was my favourite texture pack
The mention of survival craft unlocked some hidden memories from when I was like... 7 or 8 😂
its actually really good theres some things wrong with it but it also has some things minecraft doesnt have.
there's also another pretty good Minecraft ripoff called miniworld.

i remember playing survivalcraft unironically a while back and this hit me with weird nostalgia
ME TOO QND I WOULD DIE INSTANTLY OMG
Survivalcraft is soooo good, I unironically love it. Truly more than a minecraft clone when you get down to it, it's got its own features and everything. I WISH minecraft had the same furniture features as Survivalcraft, or the concept of animals you can't spawn with eggs because they're so rare. It was so neat, you should do a full playthrough one day. Totally worth the money.
And i also like that you can make your own furniture using the hammer tool in survivalcraft 2
It's like Don't Starve in terms of difficulty.
When Survivalcraft 1 was made in there time it had more features then Pocket Edition
Survivalcraft ngl is scarily decent for a rip off, glad to see others like it
this has got to be a joke
it's genuinely actually not that bad for a rip-off
It's a better effort than anything else
I actually like it I use to play with my little brother on his tablet
The thing about survivalcraft is that they try to stay as far away from the minecraft side of things, their focus is on the survival aspect of the game, they make surviving harder/realistic, it's really fun and honestly i wouldn't even say it's a minecraft ripoff

Ah yes these “Minecraft games” have been now tested by a *squid*
The creators of these games are…surprised
Seeing Aphmau scared me out of my wits, i was not expecting to have that part of my childhood unlocked
These are terrifying
Yes, indeed.
No it's ripped off games of mincraft
I remember back in, like, second grade (or even earlier) I had minecraft pocket edition "lite" and it had these weird light cubes and stuff... But anyway, I remember a kid came up to me and said "can you use tnt?" I said no and he went "man, you havent lived till you've used tnt" and for some reason that has been forever ingrained in my memory, even now over a decade later
Have you used TNT yet?
0:11 thats a stomach squiddo!
The second game you played is actually a reskin of a game called Minetest, which is a open-source alternative for Minecraft, a lot of those shady google play Minecraft clones are re-compiled versions of that game with a bunch of pre-packaged mods.
Yep. I was waiting to see if someone commented on this. I have played Minetest for a good long time and I can say with 100% certainty that Minetest is much better than those crappy Google Play forks. If I am being honest though, even the official build of Minetest for android is awful since they can't really make a good port with all the desktop PC specific aspects to the game. It's a lot more fun when played on a desktop PC and a few friends on a private server with whatever mods you want. Unfortunately, the public servers have become really bad over the past several years.
@@TheAltruisticHacker Yeah I have to agree on this one, although hitting up my friends on discord and playing minetest with a bunch of mods even on android despite the obvious problems with the port is still a blast. And no ads too! Makes me sad to see how much people miss out due to the shady forks.
I remember the days where i was forced to play "Crafting and Building" 'cause i didn't have a computer to play the Minecraft version i'd already owned. It was pretty much Minecraft with a texture pack. Literally the same game. It even had the nether update last time i checked. Also, a weird thing about it is that if you'd made a world on a different minecraft rip off it would show up in Building and Crafting but if you tried to enter the world it just wouldn't work. Like, if you could even get into the world it'd be covered in holes or something like that. This was a while ago so my memory on the subject is a bit foggy.
Caves and cliffs mobs also existed
@@MitsubishiXpander944 It's been a while, it's proabably been updated since i last played.
it actually supports minecraft bedrock servers too
Me too i played then
Oh yeah it does! Tbh my favorite feature is it has an extended version of the Bedrock character creator marketplace for free
I remember playing a Minecraft ripoff as a kid that wasn't even an actual ripoff, just an idle game with Minecraft items.

i actually respect survival craft, i bought the game and personally, i reeally like it, they added furniture making, weaponry, explosives, etc, it just makes it fun
Survivalcraft is actually surprisingly so good with its own features and infamously beeing so much harder than regular minecraft. And I remember it actually came out nefore they even ported minecraft to mobile.
survivalcraft was epic, i remember being scared of the sound that happened when you take damage
I remember playing a Minecraft clone named Block Craft. It was unique enough that it was actually a pretty decent game, save for the mechanics of having to wait to get more of certain blocks
I remember watching my older cousin play survival craft and being impressed with new animals and features in the game. Now I can't stop laughing knowing that that game was a ripoff
I would love to see a part two to this video, as there are more games told in the comments that you couldn't check on time! :o

“THIS IS YOUR HUNGER LEVEL OF YOUR PONY” TWERP got me bursting out laughing
There are three sandbox block-type games I'm really familiar with (Minecraft, SurvivalCraft, and Block Story), and I generally play them on my phone depending on my mood.
1. MINECRAFT when I want to play with my cousin, since it's the only game out of the three with a fully functioning multi-player feature that I really enjoy. Plus, the community is active and the game updates make me want to continue playing it
2. SURVIVAL CRAFT for a more 'realistic' feel. Aside from werewolves, all other mobs are real animals found in nature (at least to my knowledge). By default, it is much more challenging to play than Minecraft, and the addition of temperature, food rot, flu/sickness, food poisoning, and tiredness (most of which are still not in vanilla Minecraft) as well as the existence of a lot of predators that will attack you whether day or night, makes the game worthwhile to play. I haven't explored the electronics part yet, but the furniture part really opens up the game to a lot of possibilities for awesome builds to be made. Too bad the creator is still busy with another project so updates are still lacking for now.
3. BLOCK STORY for a more story-driven, fantasy RPG-like setting. In this game, there are NPCs you can interact with, with quests and items to trade with. There's also a level-up system for upgrading health, attack, magic, etc. You can also fly using mana! There's also a very wide variety of mobs, from normal animals like sheep and cow to extremely bizarre ones like the T-Rex, a giant frog, a Phoenix, and aliens. Aside from an "Overworld", it has a "Nether" biome located deep underground, a Sky Islands biome high up above the clouds, and recently a Space biome composed of different layers of sub-biomes, all of which have their own boss monsters that you can attack regularly for loot and EXP points. You can also own pets such as dragons, a spider, an alien dog, a snowman, a phoenix, a ghost, and a robot, if you can craft their corresponding summoning materials. Lastly, the further you are from the spawn point, the stronger the enemies will be, but there are craftable teleports so there's little risk on being lost. A downside for this game is the lack of a multi-player, since the creators themselves said that due to the player-character having no model (and also 3D armor pieces when equipped), they won't be releasing it. It's a bit disappointing and sad for me, but it's their decision and I respect it.
TL;DR: Minecraft for the multi-player and the community; Survival Craft for a more realistic feel and more challenging play; and Block Story for a story-driven fantasy RPG with various worlds to explore.
Blockstory is actually so good tho, I love the quest storyline, it adds massive depth to the game and makes it compelling to play

I actually love survivalcraft. It is the same genre as minecraft, but it is nowhere near the same. What I find most impressive is the fact that it was made by a single person. Basically he saw minecraft back when it was new and liked the concept of it, so he made his own version. There is a CZcamsr called Miner417 who makes pretty good videos about it if you want to see more gameplay and what it's like.
It is not a minecraft clone or RIP-off in any way, but it was inspired by minecraft.
5:23 AYYYYY ITS QUAKITY!!!

I literally remember playing multicraft and that was the best of my childhood.
ah.. survivalcraft.. i remember playing it. if i remember correctly, there was a feature where you could make huge buildings into mini models like i you built a big chair and used a hammer (i think) it would give you the chair as a block. there were some other stuff you could do with these models, but i dont remember. also, there were community maps and some of them were pretty cool (like a music maker)
I remember a bootleg that was just like Minecraft called *Exploration Lite*
I still have it and it’s still quite fun :)
Same I remember playing that when I was like 7
its been almost a year since i watch squiddo and i still think she's underrated, she put alot of effort into her video.
"coursework HEART EYES"

I remember playing a game called dragoncraft when i was like 10, and i think if you make a sequel to this it might be worth checking out. there was a feature where you could actually talk to the dragons but that lost most of it's charm when i realised it was just bots responding to key words in what you said to them. TwT
Imma just say I find you saying bye at the end wholesome squiddo

survival craft is something I still play from time to time even though I have both actual versions of the game, all because it just happened to be fun, there was temperature related things- more uh...''realism'' if you will...um also you could make traps and find random arse grave yards??? oh and apparently werewolves exist in that game? I also tried to take birds and other animals down via the lighting strike button that is there....

Survivalcraft was a very good game when I didn’t have Minecraft… and when I did. I managed to get money from house chores to buy a full version of it while having actual MCPE on an iPad and a laptop.
