The fact that Namjoon today asks a woman about the lyrics of the songs, to make sure that nothing is wrong, there is nothing objectifying women, sexist lyrics, (as many singers do out there) is really SO beautiful. @@c.r.t1586 Yes it is a fun song but it does have its problems, the mv is also a little problematic, since they keep chasing the girl. But what differentiates them from other artists is that they saw the error, apologized and did not make them again.
@@renata05 It kinda blows my mind that people find that video problematic...... I mean I appreciate that they go the extra step and get lyrics checked but also, that song/video was not problematic and I don't feel they needed to apologize over something that again, wasn't actually a problem.
I do appreciate when they DID make honest mistakes and DID apologize and learn from those. But that video was not one of them that should've been apologized for.
I checked it out way before I was ARMY & was starting to check them/their music out because I heard it was 'problematic' and was curious to see myself. Needless to say by the end I was immensely confused that anyone actually found it problematic

They didn't tease the the girl or did anything criminal. In the end the girl chose one member she liked. No forcing. I don't think they needed to apologise for that song when they did nothing wrong.

I don't know if you are a woman, but I am and I went through this type of situation of being "chased" by boys, and that's enough of romanticizing this type of act, because yes it is very boring. The MV is of course not the boys' fault, but as the music is theirs, they are in the MV, I believe they apologized because it was their image, they were in the mv, and also because they saw the error and didn't repeat , the proof is that since then it hasn't happened in any song or mv. What Namjoon does today is BEAUTIFUL, asking a woman when she needs help is beautiful and very inspiring, it shows how much he cares.

Yep things like death threats and horrible accusations still go on and quite a bit has happend this year. They are some currently happening right now and armys battling against them. Armys are really the honestly the most powerful fandom we've been through and seen so much happend to the boys. It really shouldn't be a surprise that we are very protective

When jimin had death threats jin dressed up the same as jimin for a show so a possible attacker would be confused on who was jimin. The members literally put their lives on the line to protect other members.

So I was a fan when jimin got death threats, someone posted a picture of a loaded gun and threatend to shoot him. Jimin knew this. He addressed this during LY:tear press conference saying he was flustered and he was worrying about how armies might have felt. he still chose to go on stage....
Jin dressed then as jimin to completely look like jimin so that the one who threatened jimin gets confused!! Jinmin's friendship😭

Some more facts:
• BTS used to eat salted chicken breast as they didn't have enough money to shoot mv's. So they starved and used that money on shooting mv's.
• BTS is so selfless and their friendship is so pure. When Jimin received death threats (this was more severe than RM), fans noticed that Jin and Jimin dressed up in the same outfit and even died their hair the same colour in the airport. Jin was ready to take the bullet for jimin. I'm crying.

Sadly the boys are still receiving hate to this day. Just a couple days ago Chinese netizens turned Namjoon's words about South Korea & the US friendly relationship as a disrespect towards China (which it wasn't). Jimin received much hate for crying and expressing his emotional state during the first day of the MAP OF THE SOUL concert. The more popular BTS gets, the more rats from sewers comes out.
Dynamite reached so many extremes and accomplishments, but there are so many more BTS songs before it that deserve just as much, if not more, love. Dynamite has made huge accomplishments, and perhaps BTS feels they should make more songs like Dynamite since it received such a huge result. However, I believe Dynamite reached the height it did mainly due to how large the fandom has become over quarantine, with people all over the world discovering BTS as they sat at home. I also believe the Dynamite Era is the BTS Era that has the most growth for BTS, not necessarily in recognition, but in terms of it creating growth in fans and interest, and that’s why Dynamite got so huge. Yes, Dynamite is a good song, and it deserves to be recognized, BTS deserve to be recognized for it. However, they don’t deserve to be recognized only due to Dynamite, their all English song, when there are tons of songs in Korean before it that had just as much effort and care put into it. Songs that deserve just as much recognition as Dynamite. Songs that show their hearts and souls and dreams and beliefs. And with the growth that Dynamite caused, they deserve to be loved for all sides of their music, not just the all English one. That’s why this next album, BE, needs all the love it can get. Because this album, in every single aspect of its creation, is all them, them, them, them! BTS is doing all the sound design, production, musical management, visual creation, lyric composition, etc. for this album, and putting all their hearts and souls into every single one of those aspects! So what better way to show how much we love all the sides of their work, than with the album that contains the most of it? Which is exactly why this upcoming album and its upcoming songs need to break the records Dynamite set. For them to see they don’t need English or heavy company assistance to create global recognition, numbers, and brilliance, they just need themselves.

Sammy, antis saw the potential from the guys even before their debut, they knew they were coming strong and knew their groups mainly from the "Big Three" were in a position to lose againt a group from a small company.
Fans from different fandoms united to try to bring BTS down using those hashtags. That was pure evil.
This is why ARMYs are so protective towards the guys, they are good humans who don't deserve the treatment they got from many antis, companies, or anyone.

Armys are always very protective. I hope this explains why we are always so on the fence. I’ve seen so much hate since I became an army. I’ve literally never seen anything like this before. These are also some of the reasons that fanwars are still kinda a thing. There’s so many wounds from the past and people hold onto the hurtful things that were done.
A lot of it came from BTS’ sudden success. (I won’t mention who, bc I think most Armys know who) Another group was really big during this time, and suddenly bts came with all their new success and fans of this other group started all these hateful projects etc, to tear down bts and army. It was so horrible.
I’ll never forget some of the horrendous things I’ve seen people say
When the video showed ARMYs support then, I broke down. Literally. And people will call me ridiculous for that because "why would I cry because of my teenage obsession and all that shit?" But i'm gonna answer anyways.."maybe because you don't know shit". BTS seriously had gone through a lot and still are going through it of course, but they had gone through a lot LOT. For those seven men that actually comforted me a lot with their hopeful and heartfelt contents (their music, and even their reality shows and their words..their story) and smiled so bright they looked like the happiest and the least miserable people, they seriously had gone through a lot. More than we probably are thinking. I'm heartbroken Mr.Sam and I think I am inclined to blame youTT nah i'm kidding😭 but srsly, I'm just 15 and i'm the loneliest and they helped me a LOT. They influenced my way of thinking a lot- made me love myself better, made me dream higher, aim higher and made me hopeful. Because someone like them, who people have been degrading ever since, are now the most successful ever.
BTS never talk about it anymore and yeah, we tend to talk about it less but right now, ignorance takes place. Some "ARMY's" are acting like antis. Some other people judge ARMYs for the things we do for BTS because it's "crazy" and "obsessive". But they have no fucking idea how much they've helped us. And seeing how much they've suffered, just made us feel empathy. Besides, why would we stop when there's no reason to? BTS makes good music, good entertainers, good and genuine people we know we can trust. But again, they will never understand. But that's okay too. That's understandable. It still gets too much sometimes that I stop talking to my family about my interests because its BTS. And they'll call it "nonsense" or "ridiculous". And if I try to explain, it will get worse. They will judge me more.
I hope I don't sound cringe because I don't wanna come out as one. I hope it's not too dramatic, but I guess it is because I literally just cried. I love you all ARMYs. Y'all are amazing, beautiful ppl. I love you💜

yeah exactly. No one owns school uniform aesthetic and still the Fandom of EXO accused them of plagiarism cause apparently EXO also had a song with school boy concept. I'm so fking proud of the growth bts showed and how they educated themselves and apologized for their past mistakes when they were teenagers and never repeated it unlike other groups whom keep being ignorant anyways i stream war of hormones every day because its a bop and it's not offensive at all for me
No matter how strong you are, any sort of hate- no matter how impractical and absurd it is, and no matter from whom it is- does get to you, and you may not even realise it. Having experienced something similar (I mean not BTS level, but simple, stupid comments),I would just brush them off since they would make no sense after an objective analysis, but still it’d make me feel heavy and affect me. It requires a great deal of effort to develop those emotional management skills to combat things like that, and this is one of the many reasons why I truly respect, not only BTS, but sooo many artists or other public figures whose every move is interpreted and misinterpreted by thousands everyday, but they still combat that and keep moving. That is really inspiring.

I feel like BTS are actually pretty lucky too. They had a solid support system from the beginning and were surrounded by a genuine and supportive family and were treated like human beings in their company and had more creative freedom. You don't typical see that between idol groups and their company.
