Nice to see N9382 find a home instead of being cut up! Worked on this plane back in the 1974 / 76 time frame. It was the first radial powered airplane that I learned how to start and do run ups on. (Things a ground mech in the day needed to know when you operated in minus forty below weather. ) While it was in our care at the Naval Arctic Research Lab it carried anything we could fit inside. Besides flying between Anchorage and Fairbanks she made a number of landings out on the Ice Cap.
