The beauty youtubers I follow don't have my eye shape and never really go into detail about how to do tings for deep-set or hooded eyes. This is very informative! I like that you've encompassed such a range of shapes and you are very good at explaining this for amateurs like me.
This is a great video Alyona! I have deep set eyes and also cat eyes (opposite to droopy). Other than the white concealer what works for me is also some color (copper tint) on the upper lid, really brings them forward!
My face is very asymmetric so every time I do makeup is like I'm doing it on two different faces, Aly's videos helped me the most for the balancing. Thank you so much!!

I truly love that you don't simply explain - you teach! This was great to watch, I look forward to the lesson on hooded eyes (my eyes)! Pleease incorporate what to do when your hood is lower on the inside of the eye (covers lid space) and less on the outside (a little lid space shows)!

You are just so clever and informative, I rewind and watch over & over! I need to start taking notes... I've only recently think I discovered what my eyes are... Let's say a smaller round eye, maybe normal set. However, now that I'm mature at 51 yrs old all the things I use to do like you said wing-out liner to create more almond shape. I can not do cause of age. I end up wearing no liner and draw up the bottom under eyeshadow, but it's never dramatic enough. Plus I'm a total cool tone blonde, blue eyed girl, makes it harder I think.
You are just SO FULL of information!!!!! I'm going to look thru your videos to see if you have one (or hopefully several) on everything makeup for MATURE women, who need it the most!!! Thanks so much, I think you're brilliant~

Nice tips. I have deep set eyes but very pale skin. The only color lighter than my skin is white. haha I shall still try this technique.

I've been doing this for the longest time on accident. I just liked how it looked. I'm also pale with deep set eyes. White totally works. With a bit of shimmer or glitter is fun too!

Yes. That would be interesting to see. I've never seen videos covering this area of the face.
I have a sad mouth too. What works is to use a lighter concealer in the shadowy parts of the corner of the lips yo lift those shadows which make the corners look droopy. Works really well.

It puts me right off watching because it's so boring. They say it every time and I just prefer and love your authentic delivery. Tips and illustrations are great too.
Extremely helpful! The Penelope Cruz portion was wild. The irises did look like they were going away from each other.
What about eye shadow colours? I have green eyes and dark mousey blonde hair with warm skin tone. I still like doing eyeshadow the old fashioned way of matching to my clothing, blush, lipstick and nail polish. I know most people do not do it that way these days but I still like how the co-ordination looks. What do you think?

these videos are so helpful, I am many ethnics and have combination of eye type, it was so interesting, and gave me more ideas than white liner to look big, or making the outer up corner look more interesting. I am going to try some of these to play with the shape that it will work.

Hi Aly I absolutely love your tutorials you explain everything professionally but simple enough for us to take in! You are amazing in the beauty field that you have chosen plus fantastic stylist washing you made me have bangs cut in and I'm so happy with them I just go to bed with a big Velcro roller over night rolled forward so when I take it out in the morning it's a slight curl on my forehead I just run my fingers through it going back it falls into its own part and the bangs are flicked nicely on both sides I Thankyou for giving me the inspiration to get it done! Makes me look a little younger too! Before I just had a long bob but it just feels freshened up! You know everything there is to know about applying make up I'm in my early 50's and have hooded eyes I haven't wore eyeshadow for over ten years as you can't really see my eye lid so I'm going to go back through your videos and see if you have done a hooded eye blog I also need to know how to contour I have an oval shaped face! I didn't expect any tips on monolids! I'm a FN so I like my makeup blended well, but I lack knowledge how to position blended shadows on monolid. Most tutorials for Asian eyes don't flatter my face at all.

I'm impressed that you teach techniques to perform whatever illusion we want to do. And not what is "in" or "hot" at the moment. I must say, while it seems the current Vogue is to make the eye upturned at the outer corner, this does not look good on everyone! For instance my eyes are naturally upturned, so I "pull them down" by applying my false eyelashes a tiny bit downturned. This balances my face. So, in general, I don't follow fads. Every face is unique. This video is very helpful!
