Problem with Progressive Liberal perceptions is they always promote their agenda. On welcome to country. In WA I've never seen an Aboriginie at a smoking ceremony ( welcome to country) it's more a hipster thing. The Aboriginie's won't go because it's a ritual that only initiated men can attend and women are strictly forbidden, what they all doing is hardly respect for this remarkable culture. My point, the tribesmen still exist. English is their second language and many still don't speak english at all. You won't learn anything about the Aboriginie's in the political language. A good podcast to get you started is Malcolm Douglas, view the Kimberley series. It's how the real Aboriginie's were when I was a kid and they still exist. Let's not mix the truth with the politically motivated social constructs.

Nah the welcome to country is something most aussies don't want since it cost the tax payers including me A LOT of money.
Same with acknowledgement of country IDK why she is saying this.
ANZAC day also isn't just about WW1 it's about honoring our veterans ALL of them this girl has no idea what she is talking about.
