Shradha Gajavelli (SSLA) | Presentation | Summer Internship Programme 2024

The Maritime Research Center (MRC) hosted the final presentations by our summer interns from the prestigious institutions of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. This event marked the culmination of our interns' rigorous and innovative #projects, showcasing their #research findings and contributions to the maritime domain.
This online #workshop was hosted in collaboration with @Indo-SwissCentreofExcellence and Nirdhwani Technology Private Limited on 6 July 2024 and 9 July 2024, from 4 pm IST to 6 pm IST, respectively.
Below are some of the critical objectives of hosting this two-day workshop:
● Showcase Research Outcomes: To present the research projects completed by the summer interns, highlighting significant findings and potential impacts.
● Encourage Knowledge Sharing: To foster an #environment of knowledge exchange among interns, mentors, and the broader research community.
● Provide Constructive Feedback: To offer feedback and suggestions from experienced researchers and industry experts to help interns refine their work.
● Strengthen Networking: To build connections between interns, faculty, industry professionals, and researchers, encouraging future collaborations.
During this two-day workshop, MRC Fellows and the core team members will also present on the projects and research topics they have worked on for some time.
