about the Filian thing. Her model is a Pay-to-use model with the ToS for that saying that if they want to make merch for it they will have to contact the artist to discuss. But Filian has plenty of clips showing that she has said she didn't pay for the model (which honestly might just be a joke but if true, its extra bad). IDK how someone that big, who can afford to replace HELLA vr accessories she keeps breaking, just doesn't rebrand. Overall I think Good Smile is doing the right thing, I just hope this situation doesn't ruin this kind of opportunity for other Indie vtubers. I would love to see more!
She isn’t the first or last non Japanese Indie Vtuber Goodsmile collabed with, just look at Shoto/Shxtou who got a Nendoroid, skipped the Pop Up Parade and is now getting a *Scale figure* by Goodsmile Company…AS A MALE WESTERN INDIE VTUBER!!!

It probably is true that she didn't pay for the model. I saw the clip of her saying she illegally obtained the model from VRChat, which actually is a thing. Back when I use to play VRChat, there was quite a big problem with people yoinking your avatar and with external tools/mods they could extract the model/assets and this was back in like 2018-2020. Another thing to note is if you bought any 3D model from booth, the page usually has ToS on it, some even translated in English and the files themselves will have readme or a image of the ToS.
I don't think GSC would halt working with other indie vtubers. They might just do more background checks lol

8:13 Red Pyramid Thing has actually always been its name, the name of Pyramid Head was a fan adoption and was never actually cannon. Happy to see more Silent Hill content coming out!

Was waiting for the Sadako since the announcement, super excited for her! Apparently she'll also have a third face plate, most likely a Kotobukiya exclusive bonus with an even wider, manic looking eye. Her toe and finger nails are also missing, as in the films she lost them when trying to climb out of the well. Such a minor detail, but really shows the dedication to the character!
I actually saw the third faceplate on sideshow's site after uploading the video. I assume you can just order it there if you are from the states(unsure if they ship internationally though)

@@ZuccoFigures In my opinion the third faceplate is mid. The best ones are those coming in standard edition. Half closed eye and without the eye. Third one looks unnecessary intense.
Oof my wallet. Pomni and Dokibird Nendoroid are tempting. Def want the Bishoujo Queen Chrysalis, been waiting on that one for a while. Thought they just stopped doing the MLP line.
I was there at their panel (Kotobukiya) today, and they said with the new launching US site we'll be able to get the exclusive pieces as well.

I am so happy that GSC finally announced the Nendoroids for the Hololive Promise gang. It has been a long time coming. I too am disappointed that Sana didn't make the cut, as she was and will always be part of the original Council five to me. Similarly, I hope that GSC announces the Nendoroids for Hololive ID soon. Surely this isn't due to a lack of interest, given how popular several Hololive ID talents are, even outside of Indonesia.
Kafka might be my first pre-order. I bet she will sell fast and getting her later might be impossible or at very high price. Jingliu next please.

I followed the Sadako figure since it's announcement, and after a long wait, I'm really happy with how she turned out!

One of the reasons I didn't buy the Trigun Stampede Kotobukiya Vash figure was because I didn't like how his left hand was floating there with his shoulder thrown back. I just couldn't see why his shoulder would be thrown back like that instead of supporting his gun or out to the side for balance or something. It looks like he was holding his gun and just got shot in the shoulder or hit by rubble or something. Now we see why that was like that. I wonder which one they sculpted first, maybe the red coat one with the cube and then decided to do two figures and removed the cube to save it for the second one.
The other reason I didn't order it was because of all the exclusive faceplates, I couldn't decide which face looked best and couldn't get all of them with a single figure.
Well it turned out for the best since they rereleased their original trigun figures and I actually liked those a bit better anyway.
My partner bought the new Vash figure but I haven't seen it out of the box. One day when I'm not busy with other videos I'll probably unbox it for the channel to see whats up
Gosh Apex also announced March 7th along with Kafka, and Dan Heng earlier this year. Apex going for everyone's wallets! That Sadako one has got to be my favorite one out of Kotobukiya's horror bishoujo line!
Damn didn't see the Kafka figure when I was at Anime Expo. But I guess it was for the better since I avoid the mihoyo booths at all times.
In other news, I found my dream Wakamo figure from a shop by my hotel.
I'm not sure if Kafka was at Anime Expo. I just saw her pop up on MFC over the weekend and felt like throwing her in to make the video better

I think that figure is based on an important character , he was the one giving the orders on the ship , sitting at the captain chair .I remember his uniform color being the yellow and spock being blue.

It's amazing what madness lead me down this rabbit hole. But I'll comment to add some engagement to the video since I enjoyed watching it.
I'm not an anime person, but a Lego person. So recently I bought a bunch of display cases, and apparently looking up guides on how to set up lighting lead me down this crazy journey of figure collecting.
I don't know too much about that Filian thing. But I have to imagine if some random ass V-tuber is making bank off the original artist's model without compensating them for it that the original artist isn't a huge asshole. Which means I would like to think they'll let GoodSmile make a figure after getting paid out some token amount of money.
For the artist to let a V-tuber use their model without money means the artist is probably already written it off as a loss, but if they can wrangle any amount of money from this--why not, right? So hopefully the fans are able to get their toys and the artist gets their money. Is it offensive to call them toys? I collect Lego and it gets thrown around either way. I dunno. Collecting is weird. Just have fun!
For the S-Fire Rei Ayanami figure, it was on display at AX. I saw it, looks good

Awesome! I love the snowdrop OC, will be keeping my eye on that one for sure, along with the MLP Queen Chrysalis! I don't follow any vtubers and such but the Ironmouse is really cute. I regret selling a bunch of the original monster high dolls a few years back, the newer style of the dolls is a lot thicker and I don't like them at all. Sadly looks like the figure announced will be the newer style :/

So far we know she has two face plates. The normal one with the peaking out and one with the eye wide open called "horror face". Slideshow has it as an exclusive for western shops & koto partners... whatever that means.
She also comes with extra hair parts used to cover the face so she looks like a mass of hair.

The website says you can arrange the VHS tape how you want on the Ring figure, so its all loose. That could be a good thing or a bad thing! I don't know if I could make it look as good as the stock photos.
I don't like the first Gawra Gura scale so Im interested what the new one will be. She has some really cute garage kits. It sucks when you see an awesome figure on MFC but its a garage kit. Why can't I have artistic talent 😭

Making Wallet Kun hurt but its worth it
I'm surprised it took THIS long for the EN Holo talents to get new stuff. Held off on all the Mori stuff for this day as I wanted a scale. The Fuwamoco items are joining straight away though as they had such passion talking about their announcement as they're also avid figure fans who mentioned some old school ones they owned. Also really want those Pokemon figures and hopefully they keep them coming even though I skipped the gen 9 ones as they are absolutely hideous because their outfits just suck and I'm really not a fan of the new art direction but who knows what they'll do next.

Very excited for both the PUP L sized of Jill Stingray & Satsuki Kiryuin but super excited for Kotobukiya's Sadako-chan. The attention to her well sculpted feet is a highlight ngl and the second face-plate of her peeking out from her hair does add a bit of cute shyness. From over the years of seeing a bunch of Sadako-chan fanart has really "moe-fied' her thus dumbing-down the scary/horror factor but I honestly do not mind; as it plays to the "scaroused" factor lol

I am cautiously excited about the Jill figure. It is a pop up parade and I'm begging they don't pull a Zero Two and make it look super ugly. This is probably all we are going to get to please don't mess it up. I finished VA-11 Hall-A this February and I have been obsessed and I would hate for something I actually really, really want to turn out looking like ass.
Aside from that I am also really looking forward to Sadako. Especially as the resident lover of women who could kill me. Apparently there are 3 faceplates, with the eye open with the expression being a bit more scary being exclusive, but the eye covered and eye open normally being at other retailers. What a pain, exclusive faceplates are rather annoying.
I dont THINK I've seen a bad large Pop up Parade but I suppose there's a first time for everything lol. I'm not expecting a masterpiece figure but yeah ill be sad if they fumble here
