    It’s criminal that Beirne didn’t get a single try for Ireland this year. He deserved a try more than any other player in the world

      "He deserved a try more than any other player in the world"... he plays in a team no individual "deserves" a try. Did Furlong, get one? Beirne had an amazing year as an important player in the Irish team along with all hte other players that played.

      They are a "mathematical" and "good pupils" team who lacks of flair. I am somewhere bored of watching Ireland. They are maybe the most annoying Top 12 team. I prefer for example Wales, Italy or even South Africa who was interesting this Autumn.

    • @canadiancontent352
      @canadiancontent352 Před rokem +8

      @@fredericgillot1976 playing within a system does not make you a good pupil but a good teammate. They simply know where to be when their teammate has the ball giving the ball carrier options; Henderson's try vs the all blacks being a good example. Modern defence usually requires teams work together too unlock them. Ireland doesn't have a large playing base with the kind of athletes with the ability to make space by themselves. But go ahead and watch SA bash into everyone and occasionally open up and Wales regularly blow it at the end.

      @@fredericgillot1976 they used to be a mathematical team but now they are the opposite. They are dynamic and use forwards to make space for backs, then pull out beautiful moves no other team can preform. the only ones who think they are boring are those who don't know rugby, and can't see the smaller flair in every play.

    • @fredericgillot1976

      @@canadiancontent352 ok I understand. But they don’t take often high risks. This is why they are not entertaining. Another side of Irish rugby is Leinster : during the champions cup final for example, they took penalties instead of going for a try, what La Rochelle did. Because they were « good pupils » counting their pences. And fortunately they lost. Let’s be honest, I admire the Irish solidarity and their motivation. But seriously, JVDF player of the year ? Overrated. No Alldritt or Savea ?…
      However, I agree with you : Farrell is a good coach, he would be good for Lions.

Scotland would be a better example for a team that lacks consistency when they show some great play then lose the plot (sorry lads).
