If I have to be honest Chainsaw Man Manga is maybe one of the best ones I have read it's story and the characters is the thing that gripped me so much and the characters are also really really good and this is one of the few Manga that has one of the best female characters I have seen so far with their own story, conflicts and they are not perfect they are flawed and this is what I like about this series that every single character is not perfect they are imperfect, they have flaws, they have struggles to go through and this made be connected to them and I will be honest I didn't like Denji at first but as I read the Manga and see his character growth I completely understand his character that where he is coming from. And this is a spoiler warning that I really want people to stop simping on Makima, she is someone who is dangerous and a very realistic representation of a woman who constantly manipulate and literally grooms you like she is that person and she is if not one of the best female villains I have seen so far in Manga right now and I am currently in the second part of Chainsaw Man and that one is also really good highly recommend to read. And one more thing that I was pretty much conflicted in this Manga is the fan service at first I thought that it was forced but as I read the Manga and see that the fan service sometimes doesn't felt force like with Deji and other characters and there is a reason behind whatever action that they do and it is may be one of the best examples to use fan service in the right way without making female or male characters oversexualised in my opinion so yeah.

Imagine Frieza killing Gohan and Chichi in few secs and frame Goku for killing them among people of earth and thus goku become the monster that was suppose to be and he start killing humanity to cope with his loss.. Thats the unpredictability that dragonball is missing in the story.. Power showdown is great but repeating it may be boring after a time beings( taking about many saiyan forms) I have watch all 3 part of dragon ball in 2019 but i neved found it very engaging in story wise apart form its power showdown.... Story is everything for an anime and all anime has many things that a story can be derive from. Anime like Dragonball ,Bleach,Hnter × Hunter , JJK etc story is derive from power system whereas Anime like One Piece, Naruto, AOT story is derive from Plot and world building ..
