Thats what makes summerhouse so good and that realistic feel to it. Only 3 people died in this entire season. In the new season that came out 3 people would be dying per episode
"realistic" yh it was so realistic when they casually threw a child off a balcony yh it's so realistic when they touch skengs and go on drills without gloves and ballys
I myself didn't mind so much about that. I watched the last 2 seasons first, and then the first two because I didn't get it. I thought on Netflix the last 2 Seasons are a show on itself because they are seperated into Top Boy and Top Boy: Summerhouse. The first two seasons seemed way grittier despite the fewer deaths, which I think is very cool. The latter two seasons had a much more modern feel to it. The whole setting felt so familiar, like the streets in your city you know not to go to. And I guess its more violent because there's much more different gangs at the time which all get into fights with eachother. Also the youths are way more violent in nature than it was "back in the day" I guess. Jamie was ruthless in that regard and took the initiative, and thats what made him climb up ranks so quick so it feels kind of justified, and Sully and Dushane had to adapt. It's like their youths from the first two seasons grew up and now theres a lot more violent individuals, which again recruit more youths.
Mad mikes death stands out to me the most for some reason, it’s so fucked up how he was sullys only friend beside jason that season and he had to witness him get shot in the face
@@jrman2004 Man fuck rafe the way he snuck up and popped mike was such a pussy move, sully and mike would’ve stood a chance had they been prepared and not caught off guard. Top boy s1 and 2 are great but so dark and gritty. You feel like you’re in the madness and chaos that going on as it’s happening. I hear a lot people complain that the rest of the series isn’t like that but it makes sense as it’s in a different age of the roads and dushane is falling more into his greed so it of course involves expansion while sully falls into his quick and fast impulsive behavior, while also seemingly developing a more human side at the same time. The end of s4 reminds us of who sully is and that carries into the final season. He’s a bad guy they’re both bad guys but it’s such a real gripping story at the same time. My favorite character was Jamie by far though he felt the most human to me but at the same time in a business like the one he was in you tend to lose that over time.
I don't think Vincent would've died from that wound. Was sad not to see him in season 3. Also, this carries a salient message: DON'T FUCK WITH ALBANIANS
