I went with the fitness version. The ipx rating is what makes me want that version more.

Really appreciate this review! I bought the fitness model, and I get that crackling sound in awareness mode too - this is the first I've heard anyone else mention it, glad to know it's not just me, but yeah, it's very annoying. I contacted the company and they recommended a factory reset. It seemed to fix the crackling in one bud but not the other. Then did 2 more resets and both buds are crackling again, I guess it's just a thing with these buds. I'm overall happy with the purchase though. I bought them as a back up pair to my faves that are more pricey and battery life too short for my needs. The sound quality isn't great in the Raycon Fitness, but adequate. For the gain of secure fit during activity, waterproof for bathtub soaking, and the super long battery life, it's worth it for me.

Thanks for such a detailed review! I was debating the value of the Fitness ones if I could just do the same activities with the everyday ones! I appreciate your time and effort for making this!

Thanks for a very thorough review. I’ve been looking for a second pair of earbuds so I don’t have to keep switching my one pair between devices. I’ll take a look at the every day pair.

Damn I wish I saw this before I bought the fitness earbuds however with discount codes I was able to get them for 80$ so I’m not to upset not looking for super premium just for bike riding and casual use great review

What’s on your playlist usually? Yes I’m curious also when you say bass vs treble I wanted to get an idea. Also have you tried Aftershocks? I don’t remember you doing a review and if you did I apologize. I’m wondering how the awareness mode compares to wearing Aftershocks.

Were any of the two models able to pair directly with your Apple Watch? I normally don’t bring my phone on runs.

Are they able to pair individually or do they pair together? I like to just listen to one earbud and leave the other in the charger sometimes. I’m actually doing it right now, lol! It’s poor man’s transparency mode, lol! You can’t pause them?!?! What?! Bring the case, it will help connectivity through Bluetooth somehow. It happens in my old ones but my JayBirds are phenomenal! Problem is, I have now lost one of them and cannot find it because you can only find your headphones if they are powered on and they turn off independently of one another after 5 minutes of not using them. So it’s lost in my bedroom nonetheless forever now.

You actually are able to pause whatever you are listening to. Just double tap the button/touch sensor.

How about wind noise? I'm still running with my Bose Soundsport (wired between buds, bluetooth) when I run and those pick up a lot of wind noise. Do you hear wind noise in these?

The fitness ones, I feel, using a smaller ear "hook" for lack of better term works way better. The larger ones tend to push the buds away. Just my 2 cents have a good one, everyone!!

Everyday is better quality. Check any reactor on CZcams - there's a consensus. You claim the bigger fittings helped. Actually for me the smallest fittings were the best, so it's not about fittings - it's about the machinery inside. Premium at a budget cost. Even $60 is upper budget imho. I've tried even cheaper but they are horrible. Everyday is the next step up and $60 is what it costs. Either accept that or listen to washed out base. Your choice. 🤷‍♂️
