Fun Fact: The development team behind Re:Chain of Memories were at first working on Birth by Sleep, which was originally supposed to release after Kingdom Hearts 2.

@@kcdaiz626 tell me something. There is nothing "hard" about this fucker. He is "hard" because this game is so poorly designed. Ive brought him down to his last lifebar a few times. But OOPS HERE COMES DASHING ATTACKS. And if he hits you once, you are not given enough recovery to dodge. You can MAYBE break if he hits you and thats PURELY dependant on where he flies in the arena.
Its so incredibly fucking frustrating to not be hit by anything, play a perfect game, and then he pulls that bullshit out of his ass and scores a instant KO move.
This battle and honestly this game's entire mechanics can go fuck off. Never playing this trash again
The quickest way to beat Ansem here (even on Proud Mode) is to Duel him. Match ever card he throws at you. Trust me, you won’t be taking any damage.

Saddest part is their bromance flowered in a GBA ADVANCE GAME. really hope four is long and shows how far riku has really come. He is the original chosen after all. He deserves his own saga imo

kh1 drip was meant to look goofy since back then they were trying to make the original characters look more disney than final fantasy. later nomura just gave up and said "screw this, give them more belts zippers and buttons"

I don't understand. He experienced psychological manipulation from The Seeker of Darkness. Why did he allow himself to take that risk with the Wise one ? Or to inflict it on Xion and Roxas ? I'm not trying to judge here (not 100% at least).
Sure, he would awake Sora... but Diz made it clear he wanted resources not allies. And last time he trusted a similar stranger with knowledge beyond his, his home was destroyed and his friends were almost lost.
At that point, Riku had gained enough of a tolerance for Darkness that he could use it without risk- something which had NEVER been done before even once by any of the Keyblade Masters which preceded him. And when Riku made that sacrifice, it was enough to emotionally move DiZ to the point of moving on from revenge, and feeling regret for the way he used the others.

It's a kingdom hearts game. Nothing makes sense.

@@JabamiLain I mean DiZ did sacrifice himself to the shadow realm so he could blow up Xemnas' Kingdom Hearts at the end of KH2. Also his entire arc in KH3 was to atone for what he did in the past by helping the Guardians of Light (helping to bring back Roxas and Namine as well as get Vexen and Demyx to betray the Seekers of Darkness).

Honestly the one thing this game messed up with was some of the lines because Riku’s original line during that first cutscene was way better in the Gameboy version. “That’s not it. the truth is…I just can’t stand your foul stench.” Vs “Wrong. The truth is…you just really stink.” The Gameboy one just sounded so definitive and petty while this just sounds like he’s trying to convince himself that’s the case 😂

Does anyone else think Mickey's voice sounds kinda wooden?
His voice actor died the year after this game was released (which makes this I believe his final performance) due to health complications, so he was probably not feeling well here either.
It's the same voice actor of KH1 and KH2, but you can tell he was struggling here.
cause the voice actor was sick/literally dying, this was Wayne Allwine's last performance as Mickey Mouse before he died from complications from diabetes

@@vitordossantos6747 if I remember correctly it's A to attack B to jump Y I think is to use the magic and items menu I can't remember what X does but L and R are your shortcuts for spell commands
