a lovely done story and beautiful video. Oliver is definitely handling it better than I would. He was essentially kidnapped by his crew to save his life, and had no way of returning safetly. For Endolyn to be still upset after hearing the story is so of a petty move. She didn't know at first, and those bubbling emotions realizing he's alive is understandable, but once he says "My crew took me", basically without his consent, means he had no physical choice, and instead gets berated. Once she does forgive, she should also apologize I feel. But that's the beauty is seeing morals told like original stories. Very well done!

The backstory for Endolyn makes for a great character dynamic. It adds more flaws to Oliver and makes her stand out. Nice to see Geebmachine voicing Duck too. I almost thought it was a Wildnorwester video.😜
Okay I wasn't expecting at 4:58 both a Wilhelm scream and a Daithi De Nogla "What happend!?". Nice touch.

A very emotional episode! For us as an audience, we were left with suspense from Oliver's POV of why Endolyn (his best friend from the old days) would turn her back on him, and when we got to this flashback, now we understood why. As they say, a promise is a promise and shouldn't be broken.
The ending is written in a more grateful way, showing that instead of quickly making up in the end, Endolyn isn't ready to forgive Oliver and it would take time before he would eventually redeem himself to her. Looking forward to what happens next!

Wow this episode is the full package! Endolyn is a neat character, and seeing the diesels slowly taking over and hearing the words “they got a scrapping as a thank-you” was scary
A very interesting story. I like Endolyn. Sounds like a regional name and it suits her. I laughed when I heard the Wilhelm Scream when Oliver backed into the ballast trucks and I like the new characters Eliza and her namesake Eliza Duncan who I assume is related to Fergus Duncan. As for the Old Prairie, he looks to be a GWR 3900 Class and has a very nicely made model. I find it ironic that Oliver was destined for Barry Island which means that he would be rescued eventually.
That was a good emotional story and I loved it and I also like Endolyn's Character.
Incorporating real life morals in a gentle way, very reminiscent of the Railway Series. I am very glad to see this theme play out, I can imagine, this this world, many other locos had the same experience as Oliver and Endolyn. I look forward to seeing more of these two together
This really reminds me of ‘The Little Westerner.’ It would have been cool if Endollyn was a character in that movie…
I do feel sorry for both Oliver and Endolyn yes Oliver's crew were in the wrong they should have considered at the time of the Escape but Endolyn will need time to heal hopefully Toad will give a boost of confidence in a future story
Me too, it was nice to see Nigel and Eliza again and maybe it was a tragic story about the truth between Oliver and Endolyn’s past in the decades, but I hope that they will be good friends again and put their past behind them and live well like happy friends

Who thought of getting an actual therapist to do the Eliza lines? That was really detailed.
I can relate to Endolyn. I still have some pain from my past. But I don't think I'll have the courage (at least, not now in the present), to have a conversation about it, like Oliver and Endolyn.
This was wonderful.
Oliver must really care about her, cuz I most definitely would've walked away from this friendship and never uttered another word to her in life

Well I never thought engines would be getting this sort of therapy but here we are.
Well. I. Never. This is... umm.. unique. To say the least.
It felt a little off, like maybe if it was in the present day where therapy is everywhere. But these are machines 😅
I don’t think they ever said the word “best friends” until HIIT took over. I think it’s more realistic to say they were family or something, I wouldn’t think the engines could even comprehend that level of emotions either. It felt too intelligent, if that makes sense!

What a surprise to see Eliza and Nigel again! The flashback to the events of Escape really was well put, and having a Prairie Tank engine on Sodor should have been a thing in Awdry’s head canon. I hope Oliver and Endolyn can put their differences aside soon, but that’s another story.
Funny how ended it on a cliffhanger. First Bert and Eliza, and now Oliver and Endolyn. Whatever cliffhanger of two characters will we see next?

Narration could have been more clear, some of the dialogue is rushed, but story is fantastic so it makes up for it. 8/10 in my personal opinion

The story has realistic approach as forgiveness isn't always easy. Endolyne isn't ready to forgive Oliver whereas Oliver need to be ready to redeem himself to earn back her trust and friendship they once had.

This was amazing good story good voice acting good models being used the only thing I have against it is when the narrator said 1966 for western region locomotives ( Br western steam ended in 1965 )
