Love the videos, surprised you didn't search online prior to ordering from Bentley, since they don't make most of parts the car is made of.

If you buy the generic cheap ones the problem is the surrounding rubber is weak and it's a pain to put them in

True! Seen so many cheap ones online that look the same as Bentley ones - but I would avoid those as the paper filaments and oil would be super cheap for sure

That's always been the case with any make dealer part, hence why companies like Euro Car Parts come into play.

Yes agreed! Also check out carparts4less - it’s euros ‘cheaper’ site

Just out of interest, what would you say are the true running costs of running your Bentley? BTW love the colour.

Hard to put a figure on it. I did try to track figures to do a video about it but I guess I didn’t keep my spreadsheet up to date! It’s not as bad as you think to run it but again depends how often you drive it. Fuel (and mpg) is obviously expensive. Remember, it’s a VW/Audi technology car, so is more reliable than an Aston Martin. Ultimately is a car which means it is a money pit - but if you buy well, and spend a bit more by getting one with all the maintenance paperwork - it should serve you well.
Watch my other video on service costs.

Bentley is increasing their profit by purchasing cheaper filters.

Probably the same with all car manufacturers, sad to say. But thankfully it’s something anyway can easily do themselves and purchase better quality ones. Thanks for watching 👍🏽

Think when I was looking for performance filters, those BMC ones were £200. If you know a better place to get them from plz let me know!

Could you please give me the part number or the link? I just got Bentley last week and I’m trying to change all filter and I’m glad I came across this video. Do you guys recommend a forum where we can share ideas and how to get cheaper spare parts

I stated this channel to do exactly that. Show people the costs and how to make ownership more affordable. Part number for MAHLE is LX 1091/ 1 KH1. But look for ones for the VW Pheaton and they share the same part. Bentley part number is 3W0129620B and 3W0129620C as it’s for the left and right side. Thanks
