- Here's the Pittwater greens truck again nice and early on a Wednesday morning, not long after this team started collecting. It took me a bloody while catching up to these guys; I was desperately running for 2.5km along the main road until they swung into one of the side streets where they got slowed down by the many stacks of material.
When collection comes in Pittwater for the green-waste, you should see some of the piles that are set out for this truck. I'd love to be one of the runners on the greens, an awesome council to collect in! Cool to see some young ladies slowly starting in the waste industry too :)
Hope you enjoy this now rare Aussie action, please rate and comment.

it must be nice being able to throw out a whole tree at once lol here its just one bin and thats it and it fills up fast! great video!!! 5* and fav
This crew works very well together, it doesnt take long for that hopper to fill up, and theyre constantly on the move. I see lady refuse workers here that operate grapple trucks, roll offs and rear loaders. They work as hard as any man. Also, nice Jeep @ 5:23 ;) 5/5 stars
Great job Mitch!
5 stars and faved mate! i was out with the paper geesink today. they let me ride in the cab and collect with them. we had an agency guy who was nice but slow. you should have seen the piles set out for us. one was a rental and they had an 1100l bins worth of heavy soaking wet cardboard at the kerb. me and the regular guy chucked it all in.
Excelent video could watch all day !! 5 stars
great!
No this is a neighbouring council, mine's Warringah Shire. All the vegetation bins in the region tend to look pretty similar with the lime green lids.
Ahhh, another great video Mitch. Is this your council because I noticed some vegetation bins that looked like the one you have?
Very well done!
@SzokoliBence In Pittwater they send the trucks out 8 times each year for each service area, so roughly every 7 weeks...
That's a heavy job, mutch heavyer then you drive at the sideloader
Yes I was in a different neighbourhood that morning, much further up from the area I usually hang out in over at Pittwater. It was summer when I shot this so it was a pretty heavy day, but regardless of the season, Pittwater is full of trees so you usually find a lot of bundles of tree prunings and cut-offs set out for pick-up. Thanks & your welcome.
Yes there was another video, but different girls.
@crushandburn51 wow.. this is so awesum.. you rock
