I love this deck so much! 🖤
It’s so dark, deep and evocative.
First I was really afraid that I wouldn’t be able to read with it, because the images are so very different, but I connected to it right away and I don’t have any problem getting their messages. Also not the biggest fan of rose petal when it comes to shuffling, but I agree, it shuffles really nice for a rose petal deck. 😁

I love this deck, and I also agree with your feedback. I especially love how much it makes me think and question what I already know about tarot. I would’ve paid more though if there was a guidebook that explained his selection for each card.

I'd love a guidebook for this one too!

I unfortunately had considerable difficulty with my deck, starting with the vinyl edging chipping off after the first or second riffle shuffle.... While it did riffle shuffle (the cards literally bent in half), it didn't overhand shuffle easily - I often dropped the last few cards because they curled up/couldn't hold themselves straight... and many cards stuck together & didn't mix well. (Really dislike soft-touch coating on cards.) I also found the LWB a bit of a throwaway, with no info on why he chose each image for each card's meaning. And the fact that some imagery doesn't follow RWS meanings despite the LWB listing RWS meanings... you said it yourself, this may be more appropriate as an oracle deck, as it isn't quite tarot. Someone recently described the photos as naked women being viewed through a male gaze, and that resonated for me. There also isn't much cultural-, age- , or body-diversity for a deck full of nude women. And on the whole, it doesn't feel inherently witchy, so I wonder about its name. Anyway, just making space for my different experience. I'm glad you and some others have had a more positive experience. I wish I had; I just couldn't overlook how many ways in which it fell short. (Imagine emoji of woman holding her hands up as if to say "Oh, well..." ;-) I'm not letting go of it just yet, however. I'm interested to see if my feelings change at all given some time & distance from the deck...

Oh! I think it was you on IG who shared their concerns, that I couldn't remember the name of! Thank you for commenting! I am sure a lot of people will feel similar too. We are so personal in experiencing life :) Lots of readers love rose petal paper hahaha I can't use it as it sticks so much! I didn't find my copy of this deck was as sticky! The guidebook is non existent here, so yeah. Anyway, a good opinion for people to bear in mind. I don't have any issues with shuffling this deck whatsoever. And I do riffle shuffle and nothing happened to the lamination, so I don't know why your copy sucked like this :(

It's an intriguing deck but without an actual functional guidebook I wouldn't go for it. But I totally get that some would! The more selection in decks, the better. :) Thanks for sharing it!

A companion book would have been cool!

I wanted to like this deck but I find the imagery is so far removed from what tarot is, I really feel this would have been better as an oracle.

Hear you. I sometimes don't even look at the cards as tarot and just read the images based on the emotion they evoke. It works ok for me.

I love that this deck challenges me to look at the traditional cards through a different lens, and I love the aesthetic of the deck. Although I wont be using it for clients, I am happy to add it to my personal collection. Thank you for another great review, Kasia!

Thank you for your video, but I have to disagree with most of the opinions given. Sorry, but I consider the purchase of this deck to be one of my worst purchases. It consists of topless big breasted women, who look seriously deranged. The pictures remind me of drawings/photographs of deranged women in asylums in the 1800s. Pictures of women who didn’t bathe or comb their hair and who look like they’d leap on you and choke the life out of you if given half a chance. I don’t know of any witches that match this description. Plus, almost every picture has bare breasted women in it. Nudity, which can be beautiful, should be for a reason, not because the photographer has a breast fetish, which is what this comes across as. If you think this deck of photographs of deranged women is evocative and/or haunting, all the more power to you. For me, not so much, because I think it is garbage like this that gives witches a bad reputation.

I hear you but I totally don’t understand why have you purchased this deck??? From the very beginning it was what it is. There was a major only deck before this one. If you are so appalled why bother buying? I don’t get that.
