I see people saying that Frankie has to tell the truth about JJ as if it were something super simple... and it's not. It's very complicated. And people also forget that JJ manipulates Frankie emotionally.

It's a little more complicated than that. It's not uncommon for victims of abuse (especially children) to resort to lying in order to protect themselves because abusers will often threaten their victims into silence, which JJ has done to Frankie. Also, given that her allegation against Jack turned out to be false and has now lied about Lucas, there's a chance that she won't be believed when she tells the truth about JJ. Telling the truth is easier said than done in Frankie's case.

Bro at this rate no one is going to believe her when she actually tells the truth. I get that she’s struggling with trauma but if you don’t tell anyone you will never get the help you need. And it definitely doesn’t help when she keeps telling lies about who’s actually hurting her. I really hope this arc ends within the next few episodes because it has been very frustrating to watch.

Please stop saying this storyline is dragging. Seriously, it is not. How would really victims feel if this storyline ended after a couple of months? Its showing how hard it is to speak up on the victim POV. Scared what it will do the the family, will they be believed. If they will have to go to court and relived the ordeal. Its showing on the abusers side what they do to the victims isolating them from friends and family hoping no one believes the victim buying them gifts and so on. Been the well behaved person no one will suspect. This needs to be shown.

At first I didn’t understand why Frankie lied all the time and blaming the wrong people for stuff but now it is clear, she not only is terrified of JJ but if she was to tell the truth now then no one would believe her cause JJ is her twin and they would obviously believe him cause of everything anyway, not right that Lucas got thrown under the bus for JJ, JJ has to be caught and stopped at once, just don’t want this to drag on for too long.
Poor Darren, he could end up in trouble going after Lucas. The unintended consequences of lies. I hope Frankie has some kind of evidence to support her allegations when she eventually tells the truth. JJ will manipulate everyone and use her prior false allegations against her.

It's so twisted, Frankie is lying to her dad Darren, all this time it was her brother JJ, and the twisted games that he does to her, with the "remember the school disco?", when really JJ sexually assaulted his sister Frankie, and that Frankie is scared to tell the truth about what happened to her and her brother JJ, to her dad or therapist, she should've told someone the truth instead of bottling it all in. I can tell that Frankie is scared, I can see it in her eyes.
I know why frankie lied about it being lucas, she feels like she doesnt deserve the friendship her and lucas have so she found a way to destroy so she can suffer alone like she thinks she deserves

Frankie I know you’re scared but you need to tell the truth and yet even if she does tell Darren it was JJ I don’t think he’d believe her because she cried wolf on her Grandfather Jack and now she’s crying wolf on her best Friend Lucas “Horton 🤣”. This storyline is showing good awareness along with the self harm storyline I can actually relate to that when I was Teenager I because I was single and I didn’t think I was loved especially not by Gram and Gramps. I may not have been SA’d by a Sibling (I’ve only got Sisters) but I was raped by a 12 and 1/2 Year old Male when I was 7 I never told Mother about it but I did with my Half-Sister Lindsey I feel sorry for Frankie I do hope she’ll get help and tell the truth and the same about Lucas coming out of his closet. 😢
