The camera is decent for SD video, but its sound is unparralelled in terms of affordable cameras. I use it to record my band, and this camera sounded better than a sound rig i made for my other camera. So Sound, I'd give it a 9.5 out of 10. Picture quality, maybe a low 7 out of 10. Still, it's a decent cam for the price.
yeah i have this problem too most of my videos on youtube are with this SDR-S7 but i have to use a pc and it's very difficult! frustrated that i can't get it on mac...help
i got this camera last christmas, i was pretty dissapointed. I didnt really look into the details like i am this year, im getting a sony handycam. I would look into buying a different camera if youre thinking about getting this.
? - if you bought a memory card for your camera, what 'class' of SDHC card did you get? I see it has to do with digital transfer speed (DTS) - I'm thinking a 16GB would be the route to go when my wee unit arrives, but I don't know about the 'class' - waddya think? d'P

this is a great little camera, especially for youtube vids. Its cheap, small and has good video quality...check out my vids, they are all done with this little camera, the "time lapse" video is the most recent. cheers
