Congrats!! The penguin is from Mary Poppins. The “random cow lady” is Clarabelle from Goofy. “Some Random horse” is Horace Horse collar also from Goofy, too. Thunderbolt shirt guy is Wilber Robinson from Meet the Robinsons I googled them all!
I ran my first half marathon as a junior in high school- it was my birthday present to myself for my 19th birthday and I ran it in a 2:08, as well as took third place in my age group. I love running and am currently a NAIA college cross country and track runner
I’m late to the party and as someone who’s relatively active this makes me feel better. I am doing the princess in Feb. and my training has been delayed due to illness. I’m excited but nervous. My first half!!
Chris with the trash can made us laugh probably a little too hard. 😂 Hiding in a theme park is a thought we have have every time we’re there. Haha. I also didn’t realize the route took you that much though Magic Kingdom! Super cool with all the rare characters you guys saw. Great job, guys!
It's such a fun route!! We did about a mile in the Magic Kingdom alone. Highly recommend the race! There are lots of places to pull off and hide in the bushes until the park opens, too. 😂
Did my local half-marathon, Wendell Foster Half-Marathon, in November with no training. Signed up the week before the race. Didn't break any records, but finished without any injuries, either. Good Job, Chris & Sara!!!
Thanks for running a half in Disney! Wanted to do it, but the registration was full last fall. Glad to see a video on it; I think I wouldn't enjoy it as much with the crowds and characters lol.
Absolutely love this return to Disney marathon 😍 Exactly, second string characters🤣 but still so much fun to see. That one you missed was from the "Robinsons" great underrated film. So needed to see this one today, had us smiling throughout. Best wishes, James and Kim ❤

Hi guy!! Running before the sun comes up sounds much better than running in the heat of the day. I have only run twice for a race and that was a fun run and a 5k but that was over 30 years ago lol.
Hi Clay! Running in the dark is definitely the way to do it in Florida! 😅 we highly recommend any of Disney races if you ever decide you want to tackle another fun run. ☺️
we're going to have to get in better shape before hanging with ya'll. I'm making it at most 5 miles with no training and then I'm sleeping for the next 3 days
How interesting that they give you a bunch of junk (other than the banana and sunflower seeds) after a race like that. I've done a few runs like that and even organized a few myself and provided the bananas and other fruit along with water and electrolyte drinks so I'm quite surprised that they have chips and crackers that are highly processed after an event like this. For me the only thing I'd be able to eat with my allergies (including nuts, wheat, corn to name a few) would be the sunflower seeds and bananas. Nice to see that your breakfast after was better with the eggs and bacon
Congratulations! I'm from Cleveland (TN, not Ohio) and ran the WDW Half marathon this year too. Sounds like Sara's first half marathon might have been mine as well (2013 WDW Half). I'm trying to decide if I can/should run the full at WDW next year since it'll be 10 years since my first half.
Post NYC Marathon (2016) I was "yelled at" for not wearing my medal while restaurants complimentary add ons. Post Berlin German's didn't care but those from other areas did. As a Chicago local my impression after finishing twice no one cares about medals even after the Chicago Marathon.
Just a 5k and a 10k for me, but Ana has done so many Disney ones - from half to full to Dopey! Shoutout to Wilbur Robinson deep cut from Meet the Robinsons at the end!
Oh yeah!! that's who he is!! I forgot about that movie. Ana's consistent running has been an inspiration to me this year. She's kicking butt over there!

So fun!! My daughter is doing a race at Disneyworld in April (I think). I enjoy you both so much! Did Kramer come with you to Florida? I am curious if dogs are allowed at Ft. Wilderness.
Hi Rhonda! Your daughter is going to have so much fun running the race! Disney does a wonderful job. And yes! Kramer did go to Ft. Wilderness. The campground is dog friendly and even has a dog park there. :) Dogs are allowed most everywhere except the pool and inside buildings. When you make a reservation at Ft. Wilderness, just let them know you have a dog so they can help you get a spot close to the dog park. :)
Fun Fact: my grandpa used to own the land at the entrance to Disney World, he sold it before knowing that Disney was going to be developed...could've made a small fortune lol
