Bond Back In Auction...! The Steve Oxenrider Bond Collection Part One

- The world's biggest catalogue of 007 memorabilia is being sold by Bond Community Legend, Steve Oxenrider, including posters, autographs, ticket stubs and brochures, which could reach £1million at Ewbanks auction.
The vast collection of around 32,000 items is so big it will have to be sold in three parts. I have exclusive access to the collection and chat about how it came to go under the hammer, with Ewbanks Partner and Head of Entertainment Memorabilia, Alastair McCrea. 001st 🍸 That Attache case is really neat imagine that under the Christmas Tree in 1963. A recent reproduction was made with the approval of Barbara Broccoli. However she insisted the Gun be swapped out for a Camera! Effectively changing the set & playability. Given that today the set will mainly be purchased by fans of mature age why the change? But the inclusion of the knife was ok in the new set. Bonkers.
As a side note...the early 1960's 007 logo so much nicer than the contemporary version.

Would love to get my mitts on that attaché case! When I was assigned as a detective with my agency, I kept pieces of gear I didn’t wear under my suit jacket in a black attaché case. It had pockets in the lid and was expandable when necessary…great invisible Bond moment! Very jealous of the collector that comes out with it! Keep the great videos coming, sir!

Funny thing about that Dr No lobby card with the two masked men. Of course in the movie it is a night scene, but apparently they were not aware of that when they made the cards, so it became a day scene 😮
