I believe those little round pieces are half a broken rivet from folding chairs.
I believe you are correct indeed. ;)
One dollar & Two dollars coins here in Australia can be a regular find as we done away with the paper notes for them some years ago.
That little bit of metal looked like a sheared off pop rivet.
Noticed the park authority in Okaloosa County removed exercise equipment from the parks around town as well mostly the ones that looked like medieval devices.
Gold. Every time I think it’s gold it’s not. Every time I have found gold I was surprised. Keep digging.
Best times to hit the parks is in the morning during the cold seasons because all the soccer moms don't wanna stand outside in the cold while their kids run around and you don't have to worry about anyone taking over an area u haven't searched yet lol 😂
If I climbed under that rope play structure I would either get hurt or stuck/tangled and EMS would have to cut me out. But then again I turned 71 last week.
I'm 62 and still get under there..barely.
I need any advantage I can get out here 😂 Happy belated birthday! 🎂
They are rivets from cheap beach chairs. Basically looks like a giant earring back.
I did a whole sand-based playground today with 2 pull tabs and 1 tiny piece of foil only. It was clean as so I assume someone else has detected it recently. I did clean up a smashed vodka bottle though and started a whole community chat because they are frustrated with the hooligans in town lol
Nice hunt Austin 👍
I’m not one to pick out what people say how and how they say it but if your asking….. my pet peeve is saying the same word twice -- not too too far - not too too deep-- not real real far …. Anyway still love the content no matter what you say. Keep digging!!!👍👍
Nice day out at the park. I can’t wait for our warmer weather to hit. We can get snow into April and the weather in May can be chilly at times.
I’m ready to go metal detecting again!
Question: I was gifted a membership. How long is it good for? Just want to know so I can continue with it when it stops.
Hope you're able to get out there soon! I think they are for 1 month?
Thanks, Julie!
hidden gem channel its awesome personality what can i say keep up the good fking work man and leave those losers faking videos u are gonna grow trust me
Come the day that aluminum prices goes up, you ll be one rich detectorist hahaha EDIT: Can i offer a suggestion Austin, I found with the legend if you want deep silver coins and such you must lower the recovery speed to no higher than 4 and bump the sensitivity as high as you can get it, ground balances the detector for the location you are in, then go into manual ground balance and back it off a few numbers, between 5 and 10 from what it balanced it at, also the lower the frequency the better chance at silver you will get, and let's face facts, you are more likely to run into a silver coin or ring than gold. Also, the Frequency shift, 1 is the default the higher up you go on the scale from 1-13 the more you are shifting the sinusoidal wave from what it is meant to be, which leads to a less effective coil-to-object response, I know the Frequency shift, in theory, sounds cool and easy to use and all but its like, try to think of it this way, if you are listening to a radio station, say, 95.5 and you turn the dial to 95.8 you may still get the radio station but it won't be as clear and loud.., and a detector is essentially an am radio on a stick (AKA an RF device) where the coil is both the transmit and receive listening to its own radio station.
Silver on the Legend screams and no way to miss it coin or ring but Gold is the super trick because if its small its 11/14 and quiet whisper and you pretty much need it to be 4 inches or less in the soil now understanding your soil is very important and the little trick to change ferro check into a mineralization check is awesome as my Anfibio has a mineral check on the display so the Legend having that ability is awesome
@@Dig_it_123 Silver coins at least all the ones i found ring up same as pennies on my legend, and with it, I have not found any silver deeper than 5 inch with it and yet with my whites IDX Pro, most silver coins i found with it were all 10 inches plus, so i know for a fact the legend is missing the deeper silver coins, another thing with the legend, i found a silver chain, that rang up as 18 , i almost didn't dig it but it was just below the surface and i couldn't believe it.
Hopefully there are more signals here than what was at the beach!
Made more at the park in 15 minutes than an hour on the beach. 😝 The luck of the draw I suppose!
@@TreasureOutdoors I spent a bit under an hour in a playground yesterday (Thursday. It's 9:30 Friday here now) and found a couple sharp bits of metal (glad to get rid of that for the kids), lots of foil a matchbox car & only one 5 cent piece. Planning to go to local beach today. Port Noarlunga beach if you want to search it on internet). Happy hunting till next time. Regards from Lindsay S. South Australia.
I got a funny feeling a good ring is coming to Austin this coming week look forward to you popping it in between going from clearing snow back to the computer....Brutal here so no detecting for quite sometime boo hoo so lets go..... PS more Legend videos please i need you to tinker with settings for me lol
Hola amigo como estas Dios te bendiga ricamente
In Ohio I go to the play top lots and with kids in them all the time and nobody seems to mind at all nobody's ever said anything to me
Good to see the legend, how are you liking the LG24? I'm loving mine!
Always enjoyed the little elliptical coils! 👍
Rivet from jeans or denim.
Which detector did you say you bought after a year with find money?
Very Nice TO ;)
Awesome treasure hunt love the channel keep up the good with 😅❤😊
Appreciate it, Peter. :)
All fines are good
I just got an XP4 Pinpointer but mine doesn't seem to work as good as your does when I watch you
Have you tried messing with sensitivity settings yet? There's also a pitch & pulse mode, might take a little getting used to.
Butt, guys. You’re doing fine.
We did wrap up videos for me and my buddy. He saved every piece of scrap for the whole season in 2023. Check it out. We dig great stuff. By we also dig way more junk. We just don't record the junk on our videos. Just our style.
What’s up Austin,good luck!
Thanks man!
Also a gold ring with a broken band can sound like absolute junk. If you have one swing over it then pinch the band closed and try again.
True! I've found one in the water that was giving me iron grunts because it was broken, little gold nugget ring. Have to keep open minded because you really never know what's under there.
I've hit a bit of silver in playgrounds, so I figure silver is the best I'll find on the high end, little Easter egg foil on the other end is the worst I'll find
I've only ever found gold in grass areas, never totlots
Mostly junker jewelry, I'd say a good 80% of my junker jewelry I found in playgrounds
Those tot lots are becoming tricky, you've got to show up at the perfect time for 'em to produce. After enough people have lost things but before the next guy comes in and clears them out! There could be gold, just tough to time it because I bet it's rarely lost.
Saludos cordiales desde chile 🙋♂️🇨🇱💪👏🗝️⛏️💍
It looks like a rivet from a pair of bluejeans.
Do you ever find match box cars in the tot lots. Just wondering haven’t seen you dig one
I watch you a lot and enjoy real metal detecting. I have the legend but only updated it when I purchased it last year. I know there is a new update available, is your Legend fully updated with the latest version?
I currently have v1.11, heard 1.13 has to do mostly with the Accupoint pinpointer compatibility. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to update but I'll probably hold off until the next update rolls around. 👍
I'm thinking I'll stay at the version 1.11 too it works great as is. Thanks from Idaho
That your analytics show an over abundance of guys butts….
well, we’re all grateful that you are addressing this issue. Thanks!
Yeah, I think "but" is a very common word when your digging up pounds of trash in search of the one good item. As in, "yeah this may seem like a big waste of time BUT, there may be GOLD around here!
random question but i have the simplex lite and was wondering what sensitivity you run it on? i have it at 15
Like with all metal detectors, the higher the sensitivity and lower the recovery speed rate the deeper it will find, ( old coins like silver coins sinks more than modern coins ) going too high on the sensitivity may cause the detector to chatter, and too low of a recovery speed will mask one of two objects if they are too close or you could swing over something and not even know it. It's a dance between the two and it's all dependent on where you are detecting, if it's trashy or not...
@@patprop74 thankyou for the reply
Pat explained it well, it kind of depends. So far on my lite I've been able to run it pretty high 25 or 30 without much interference. It seems the lite needs to be kind of high sensitivity in park modes if you want to get 4-5+ inch coins, surprisingly for me it's pretty stable. Just keep experimenting, if you are finding stuff you are doing it right! :)
MOTOR MOUTH.
You aren't wrong!
Rivets
But not as much as honestly or to be honest
But........
