- Kannamma, a treasure in many families. Adapting to the soul stirring poetry of Mahakavi Subrahmanya Bharati, we tried showcasing how a girl is cherished in every family. How she is celebrated when she speaks like a little parrot, how she walks towards you with grace and pride, and how she is praised by the world. With her gone, how can the family move on? As dancers, this is our humble attempt to sensitize the issue of rape and to make it known that this gruesome act of brutality should be seen beyond religion, caste, creed and social status.
