The graphics on the ocean are terrible, it looks like the boat is 'clipping' above and below the waterline and the physics just look wrong. It's an old game but I'd have thought they could have done update patches to make it look better on modern hardware?

You said it. "It's an old game."
You can't just fix physics with an update if that's is already inherited on the game engine and already 11 years old.
The update is in the newer games.

@@Michiro13 Fair enough and thanks for explaining. I actually like the battlefield games, would be great if they could make them with updates for modern hardware and stuff. Recently watched some videos on the latest Unreal software 👌 would love to see that on battlefield.
