    I don’t have a V50, but I owned a 2012 XC70 for 5.5 years that I just sold. Throughout my ownership, anytime I needed to perform any maintenance or repair, the first thing I did was visit your channel. Thanks for the hours of extremely useful content. You saved me a lot of time, sir. Thank you.

    Excellent video, very well filmed and you explained things so that anyone can understand, I have to replace both the inner and outer tie rods on my Volvo C70II 2011, so this video has been helpful.

    I have installed those TRW for my S40 in spring 2023 and purchased from FCP Euro. They are working great for such cheap price and guaranteed for life!

    Thanks for filming these repairs. They're useful to watch, even when working on a car that's not the exact same model.

    It is great you do all the repairs yourself. If you would go to a dealer these kind of relatively simple repairs would indeed cost a lot.

    You’ve nicely torqued the nuts with a torque wrench… and the garage guys just did it with an airgun again 😂👍🏼

    It may soon be the end of my 08 xc70😢😢. Despite undercoating, rust underneath. Small hole in quarter under neath under the edge of the plastic molding. Right underneath in front of rear tire behind the plastic molding. Rest of the underneath has a bit of rust too, but more so toward the back. Deciding what to do. Its at a 160k miles running great. 😢😢😢😢

    400 dollars? That is insane, i love Europe, this would have been 100 $ for both trw parts

    • @volvosweden
      @volvosweden  Před rokem +1

      Well it was less. 130$ for both tie rods and 180$ for alignment. All Canadian dollar.

      @@volvosweden That must be a very good alignment, almost double the price of what I usually pay.
      Then again, in Europe these parts are probably more easily accessible than in Canada. A set of the TRW tie rod ends costs 45 EUR, that's about 65 CAD.
