Even with the testimony of the veterans some unconscious part of me believed it was in a far away past and all its traces were removed. But here we are, 3 quarters of a century later, still finding pieces of metal that would have broken apart to deliver damage, death and pain from a human to another. Astounding...

Cordite can't lay in a dry storage room for 10 years and be okay. It's considered the worst of the powders. I have about 8,000 rounds of 303 british and it's hit or miss, mostly not fire or slow burn miss, so if exposed to moisture? it's useless.

l really enjoy watching your videos. They are very well made, interesting, and help to bring our history alive again. I had an uncle that was at Bastogne, and fought in the "Battle of the Bulge." As a child, l would ask him about his experiences, from time to time. He never spoke about it, and always changed the subject. Now, as a combat veteran myself, l fully understand why he would not. I applaud your efforts, the respect, and reverence that you pay to the fallen solders of all nations involved. As an avid detectorist myself, l would love to be there with you guys, as you uncover our nation's common history. Please keep the fantastic videos coming. Good luck, and safe hunting.

    Groetjes,, Kitty.
