- My very first excursion on a cruise ever! Here in amber cove Dominican Republic we try the waterfalls and moneys, this is a carnival Mardi Gras excursion! IT was a long day but the views and the waterfalls and being able have monkeys everywhere around you was worth it in the end. Sometimes it took a VERY long time to get moving, be aware of this excursion taking a lot of time.

the waterfalls look like a lot of fun (natural waterslides!!)…the monkeys are so cute!! That looked like such a great experience (but would want one to just perch on my shoulder and eat seeds for a bit).

That was fantastic. I love the DR. Hope to check out the cove before I can't do the trek. I handled Cambodia and Thailand. Lots of 400 step temples. I can do it. I love the palms and the nature like you. Yeah excursions the way. Enjoy the rest of your cruise.

Awesome video! Any wildlife in that water? I've seen too many movies with water snakes and other swimming creatures. Good way to get over any fear of that, it looked Iike once your at the top you have no choice but to slide on down. I think your ready for swimming with sharks. 🦈. Lol
