      @@MobileCarWashTampa why don’t you just use the outlets at your customer house to run for power to run your pump and electric pressure washer or even run it to your generator? I have that pump but i can run into a generator or outlet

      With the water feeding back into the tank, is it going to be sending enough water to the pressure washer?

  • @jc19vettec33
    @jc19vettec33 Před 2 lety +10

    Nice set up. I recommend you get a diaphragm pump like the ones that RV’s have. With a diaphragm pump you won’t run 24/7 or need a recirculation loop back to tank. If the pump pressures up it turns off and then triggers once pressure drops.

    Hey guys! If you have too much pressure running back into the tank, you can prioritize the water to your pressure washer outlet by slightly closing the valve of the outlet that feeds back into your tank. Give it a try! Happy detailing gang 🤘🏻

    I had the same pump foe a while and got tired of hearing the humming noise from it. I upgraded and got the one from northern tools that pumps when you pull the trigger on your pressure washer. But, just a little advice just run it from the battery on the vehicle. I did it with the pump you have and I’m doing it with the one I have now and I’ve never had a problem.

    Pump sprayer are much better then Windex type trigger sprayer. I have arthritis in my hands. I been doing this detailing longtime, so the pump sprayer have saved me. I almost gave up and retired from detailing but I'm still going. If I didn't love it, I would thrown the towel in a long time ago. 5 gal quality sprayer too. I use them on engine detailing. They get in the right spaces nothing else can get to.

    I didn't hear you mention a battery isolator. That's something I recommend you install on your vehicle and hook your battery up to...
    The "isolator solenoid" splits the alternator charge to both batteries but keeps them separate incase you leave a light on and it drains the battery, the second battery will remain untouched and can be used as backup but the main purpose is that whenever you're car is running both batteries will be charged. That's usually what RVs have to charge their systems...
    Battery isolators are relatively cheap, under $100...

    Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use czcams.com/users/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall.The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

    That pump doesn't last it the wiring get too hot and starts burning up. I went through 2 pumps already. but it works great.. Use 4 blue filter and your TDS will be near at drinking water ZERO. I almost have the same set up. Ryobe 2800 portable generator and 3000 Ryobe Presure Washer.

    That generator pushes that pressure washer with no problem? When I tried to push it off of mines it keeps going into overload mode.

      @MobileCarWashTampa  Před 3 lety +1

      Works great 👍 you have to make sure it’s not on ECO mode. Also don’t have anything else on it and it will work flawlessly

      I get 2 cars easy which is good for me since I only detail two cars per day, you could probably get 3 cars but I haven’t tried it

    Do mobile retailers really need the predator 3500 generator, or will the 2000 be enough?

    • @MobileCarWashTampa
      @MobileCarWashTampa  Před 2 lety

      The 2000 will work just fine! But if your trying to run multiple equipment at the same time then get the 3500

    I want to know why don't use gravity instead of the pump. I'm starting and I don't know the difference

    • @MobileCarWashTampa
      @MobileCarWashTampa  Před 3 lety +1

      Using gravity doesn’t work on the system I’ve tried it and it didn’t work plus using a water pump doesn’t cause any strain on the pressure washer vs gravity feed
