Pakistani long play TV drama about the emotional rollercoaster that a young housemaid goes through while working at an affluent household, set in the backdrop of a Pakistani wedding.
A big-fat-Pakistani-wedding meets a-critique-of-Pakistan’s-hidden-caste-system, where domestic help needs to “stay in their place”. The play critically depicts how treating domestic workers as one of the family is the right thing to do, and how that apparently decent gesture can lead to a broken heart.

Heart touching story and heart broken end 💔😞 love marina khan and mehreen jabbar directions they always produce something realistic...
The best thing in this drama is love of family ❤which is not seen in our dramas every one hates others

What a grace was in our dramas but now a days very loud
I watched it to see Sonia Rehman and Humayun Saeed together as I loved their chemistry in Doraha…both are great actors…I don’t know why Sonia Rehman didn’t work much but she’s so natural and I love her acting…but I was not impressed by the direction lol 😂 marina khan is a good director but this drama lost it’s pace and was a bit dragged but it was quite enjoyable to see how weddings used to be about 2 decades ago 😊….nostalgic!!

Babar has lived in America only for 6 years but acts as though he is fully westernized, holding hands and dancing with Baji, thereby hurting her feelings and leaving her heartbroken. Babar is a deliberate scoundrel who blatantly disregards his Islamic culture and uses Baji for his own pleasure. Good drama but I wish the writers had left out the Indian film songs. JMHO.
Don’t be so harsh…it’s just a drama…also Babar didn’t do anything on purpose…he was just doing it for fun and wasn’t flirting…but it’s just that baji started dreaming coz she belongs to lower class so she doesn’t have much exposure

ویسے یہ بات تو سچ ہے کہ پاکستانی گھروں میں اکثر انڈین فلمیں دیکھی جاتی ہیں اور گانے بھی زیادہ تر ان کے ہی گائے جاتے ہیں۔۔لیکن ڈرامہ اچھا آئیڈیا ہونے کے باوجود فلاپ تھا۔۔دو بچوں کے ابا کہیں سے بھی ابا نہیں لگ رہے تھےاور امریکہ پلٹ نوجوان(یعنی بابر)چار بچوں کے ابا لگ رہے تھے۔۔دوسرے پورے ڈرامے کو خواہ مخواہ ڈانس کے سینز کے ذریعے لمبا کھینچا گیا۔۔۔بورنگ
