1:52 this is where they convinced me the game is in good hands. They really seem to understand what made the games good.
I really hope super massive doesn't fumble the franchise, as is usual when a new devolper is in place. Also there didn't seem to be an identifiable main antagonist like there was in the othe ln trailers. Unless it's the porcelain baby.

I do agree with you that it is worrisome to accept a new developer company, however Supermassive games is known for their work on The Quarry. Even if this game is drastically different from the design of Little Nightmares, Supermassive Games is composed of talented, passionate, and confident workers. Even if this does not raise your hopes up for the 3rd installment of the Little Nightmares, I do hope that I have provided some valuable information.
Im a little concerned about the answer they gave on if this game is going to tie in to the other games or not. What I gathered from that statement was ln3 is somewhat going to be a standalone game with a few callbacks to the previous games but the story itself won’t be connected to the rest.
That doesn’t mean they’ll stay true to the lore if there is any left by Tarsier or Bandai. Who’s to say that naming it Little night 3 isn’t a marketing ploy to bait fans in only for them to realize that this is no longer Little nightmares but a recreation of it in Suppermassive’s image? This isn’t the first time a gaming studio has strayed away from the original lore after acquiring from a previous owner.
#1. Back before LN2 came out, Tarsier said that LN2 would be a game you could play without having played the original first. So I'm not too worried about that.
#2. The senior narrative designer, Dave Mervik, confirmed a while back that he and the rest of Tarsier handed over the *LN Lore Bible* to Bandai when they left in case Bandai ever wanted to continue the series.

@@ayeitzdj It was in an interview with Dave Mervik here on youtube. I'm pretty sure he mentioned the book in more than one interview so I'm sure you'll find it if you just listen to a few of his interviews.

it would be awesome if the new characters found themselves going to the maw and we get to see the empty ship and maybe we fight six in the same place we did the lady
I'm really glad they're trying to stick to the source material.
I am so excited, I really hope this game give some closure to some of the other games while not being totally focused on it. It would be wicked to end the game with 6 finally taking the full roll of bad guy and defeating her bringing balance to the world or gaining freedom I should say.
Glad we’re also getting random small enemy beetles similar to the leeches
They looked great in the Alpha Build we were shown at gamescom. The atmosphere should be creepy enough again

It’s so good to see it proven that both Sueprmassive Games and Bandai Namco are invested in this project, it seems they’ll continúen with the IP for a while and they’re creating with true love and passion for the game. It’s in safe hands!
Well cant wait to own it, im holding the game to the same standards i hold tarsiers in the seanse of how obsessed i become with theories, co op kinda sounds fun idk could be great or complete dogshhhh

Really really bad decision to not have couch coop in my opinion :( coop games are just so much more fun with a friend sitting next to you
Its does't work for game like this coz there is story part charecter have to be at a specific point for cut scene to start and more animation charecter plays according to the game story
It's the best, better having this than having nothing like with the previous ones. There are parts where the characters are separated either for a puzzle etc, in couch mode that would be impossible and that takes away a lot of things to do, the only way is split screen and as he said, that breaks the atmosphere of the game, it's perfect like this.
@@zutamy maybe better than the previous ones, but still horrible decision. It would be great to have both options. Even if split screen takes a way a bit of the atmosphere, I'd still prefer it to not being able to play next to my partner
I agree especially for families with kids who play the game. This is a gateway horror game that’s not too scary for younger kids to play.
They literally said why couch coop is not a good idea
Completely taking over the franchise and capturing its atmosphere so perfectly while adding co-op that is OPTIONAL….is quite impressive!
The franchise seems to be in good hands with them.
I’m worried about the switch of developers. But it does look good visually. It looks as I expect a sequel to look. However, I’m not a big player on co op, so I hope there’s a way to control both characters by yourself.
there will be an ai system similar to ln2 if you don't want to play co-op!
So they said that they want the experience to be tha same on single or multi player. In multi player you can play with both characters. So does that mean you can switch between the characters in single player or something like that
The second player is AI controlled if you play alone, they already mentioned that.

I'm honestly worried that LN isn't from the same creators.
