Trivia: I wanted to publish this video as soon as possible right after I shot it. However the Internet connection at the hotel was not fast enough to upload a 4K video. (It took more than 3 hours!) Even worse was that I got many copyright alerts when I uploaded this video to CZcams because people at the venues played copyright music. Every time I got one, I had to re-edit audio and re-upload it through such a slow connection. But just when I thought I was safe already, I got another alert! 😱 Anyway finally it's done clearing all alerts and I hope you will enjoy this video.

Wow! The artistry and craftsmanship to make all those sculptures. Thank you for showing this Yoshi. I have grown to love the Japanese festivals. The culture there is so family oriented and they can make great memories at events like this. Can't wait to see what you have next.

Snow Festival is being held at several locations. Odori Park is the biggest one but in the Susukino area (not very far from Odori Park, there are amazing ice sculptures. I will upload the video tomorrow! 😄

We also have winter festival here in Canada, but way not as elegant as this one. I think this is one of the reasons why Japan is so attractive to people around the world

There are many famous sculptures in the festival. Snow Nipponham F.Village (Hokkaido Ball Park) Shinjo coach are so cool! and Snow Baseball player Otani Shaohai is very cool too⚾ Thanks for sharing this wonderful video! I hope I can visit Sapporo Snow Festival in the future!

@@lizzcharlotte17I was unable to book a hotel this year. But the price was much more reasonable last year when I shot this video because I booked almost more than 6 months before. My hotel was in the Susukino area.
