Love the little pumpkins! I took the pumpkin preview picture off of the back of the 2020 Calendar, cut It out, then made a little frame from craft sticks, glued the tiny pumpkin picture on the wood frame and presto! A tiny pumpkin picture! Have fun.

I did this cutting board a while back....same technique. Using white chalk paint and the antique wax to get a wood look. To avoid the paint slippage and chipping I sanded my cutting board prior to painting.....using 120grit sandpaper to just scratch up the surface enough for the paint to stick really good. It worked like a charm for me. I wish I could add a picture to show you all. It really does look like a real wood cutting board. I keep it sitting on a shelf in my kitchen. So sandpaper works, I've heard the mod podge trick works well too...though I myself have not tried it.
Thanks for the top Kristin! In this case, because I used a water based acrylic stain, I actually needed the surface to be slick. Wax, I would rough it up. Thank you so much 😀❤️❤️❤️
