  • The M900 was one of Cannondale’s top of the line mountain bikes for 1995 but I took some liberty with the re-build of the bike giving it a modern versatile gravel road bike spin.
    Here’s the spec’s on the bike;
    Size: 18” - suitable for a 5’ 5” to 5’ 10” rider

    The Lauf fork would be great for this bike but a bit pricey

      The Lauf would be an awesome fork for sure! I’d consider changing out the Pepperoni but I try to maintain the original spec wherever possible on my builds.

      Yes ,. Leaf are great for gravel bikes I suspect

    Straight pull brake levers don't work that great with v brakes.

      Agreed! I had a spare pair of the micro brifters and thought I would try them - actually work not bad until proper ones come along.

      @@johnsbikerestorations You can use Mini-V-Brakes. They work better with Road Brakelevers. Dont know if they have enough tire clearnce though.

      @@GuitaristOfEvil There are V brake travel converters available that I have been wanting to try which I understand will convert the pull from 10mm to 5mm - will be interesting to see if they work.
