You deserve way more viewers. Loved the reaction. I interpret it as she wants to cut the ties to other humans so she can go in peace but still wants them to live a prosper life without her in it.
My interpretation is the woman is stuck in an extremely abusive relationship and is contemplating ending things, but she can choose to live, hence the lyrics. Her running the dude down can either symbolize overcoming whatever is holding her back or ending her abuser. At least that's my takeaway. The singer is telling someone who is contemplating ending things that even if it were to be that heaven is awaiting her, he hopes she chooses life.

My own is that the man in the video is her abusive ex-boyfriend. She was just living her life, enjoying the small things, represented by the orange. And the man cam in her life and made her feel like she had nothing of value, unless it's given by him. Eventually she tries to kill herself, either metaphorically or not; but ends up killing that part of him that she still carries within him, finally accepting that she is fine without him.
