I bought a brand new 2022 Roush F 150 leftover from dealer's stock. It's black and has everything your has. I changed the oil at 1500 miles. I just prefer fresh oil whenever I go on a road trip. I drove almost 800 miles through south central Pennsylvania and I got great mileage. The first reading was 23MPG on the freeway and 17.0 average all around town and back roads. That 5.0L V8 is an amazing engine. There were no problems or glitches at all. Your video is spot on.
My 2019 was metallic gray i have $24,000 and still love it still get a lot of looks mine came with 22 inch rins lower orofile tires and a leveling kit .i think they make them a little wider also my 2015 sport quit fitting , mine had 22 inch rins with 5 spokes easy to keep clean . Dont buy the roush tire air filler caps the metals font like each other and i had to cut them off . I always get is that a real roush.
As a truck and car guyi appreciate your video very much. I want to buy one of these trucks this is my dream truck and i hope that one day not too far from now i can buy one and enjoy it while im here. I am 34 and just like you i am an old school guy like my stuff just like you do on the older one. Thanks for video stay blessed
Absolutely beautiful truck. I love the color and rims. I have a 2020 with the blower and active exhaust. To really justify the costs the blower is a must. My drives home after work every day is a carnival ride especially with the exhaust . Thanks for the video
I had a 2017 Roush f1-50 Lariat. i added the supercharger and I also installed a Raptor steering wheel with paddle shifters. I absolutely loved the truck i would have kept it longer if it had the 10 speed transmission. But, i traded it for a 2020 Raptor. I now have a 2023 Raptor. i also had a 2014 Roush Raptor. You cannot go wrong with a Roush or a Raptor, but you will pay the price. The 2023 V6 is a vast improvement over the 2020. You cannot go wrong. 500 HP is plenty for the street.
If I am correct I have a regular F-150 with DRL Marker lights, you have to have the DRL all day turned on in your ford Setting's in order for AUTO to keep them on. Some dealers turn them off. But for me when I did that all my lights remained on in automatic besides my actual headlight bulbs.
Awesome! What'd exactly did you get? I've been driving a Roush F-150 for 6 years now, haven't regretted the price once. It's been a great experience, lots of fun!
Just bought one in June this year. I like it a lot but I have a clicking noise coming from the rear somewhere. Dealer put in a new driveshaft after having it for 3 weeks in the shop. You guys have any noises? Thanks and congrats!
I have a 23 roush with the roush supercharger on it. It was $98k. I regret buying it honestly. Its EXTREMELY overpriced. I love new f150s but 86k sticker without a supercharger is insane. Anyone watching this do yourself a favor and just buy a raptor
I get that for sure. Raptor is probably more capable offroad, but dude you got 700+ HP of a more rare, bad ass machine! Guess it depends on what you plan on doing with it? Mine is kind of a pavement princess. Not too many people in my world can buy a 100k truck & can offroad it like it was designed. Plus I've never heard a Raptor that can beat the sound of that Coyote. Now if you you spent a buck thirty on a Raptor R....I'd agree, go Raptor R all day long
I went from an '18 XLT Special Edition to a '23 Tremor and I agree with most of your comments about the factory Ford features. I really dislike the new shifter design compared to the old truck and I especially dislike the way you now have to access manual mode. Not only is the position of the manual mode button worse than before but it is really annoying having to reach UNDER the shifter handle just to get to it. Come on Ford, what were you thinking? Overall though I do like most of the other changes from the '18. The biggest improvement for me has been the sound of the 5.0L V8. The gen III 5.0L in the '18 made some embarrassing racket at times and the gen IV in the '23 is so far worlds quieter. And I'm talking about the engine itself, not the exhaust system.
It all just depends on what you want. It's definitely a pretty awesome exhaust note IMO. Search my channel for the exhaust note vs my 2017 exhaust note. I have several videos on it.
I have a 2022. The only complaint I have is the white grill light covers get water behind them. I got a new grill under warranty. Same thing happened and I was told by Roush that it’s normal and it won’t affect the LED’s behind the lenses. Does yours get water behind them too?
I'm jeep guy because railfan with top off . Now like you I've had different Ford trucks myself. Cool thing is bed button and yes color hood graphics awesome 🎉🎉 it has cleaner body not bunch of decals wax over or collecting dirt . Body interior and exterior sharp design. Dislike exhaust pipes I call them Dinky. But overall very nice truck rail brother.
I remember the video of the tree hitting your truck. How does it work with the insurance in that case? Did the insurance company just give you money towards a new truck? Was the truck’s value based on its value as a six-year-old vehicle?
Yeah, my 17 was a total loss. I had to fight with the insurance company a bit. They wanted to give me the value of a normal xlt for it. Eventually, we came up with an acceptable amount & I roll that into this one & I have a large monthly payment for another 5 years...lol
I really only drive it to work & around town...I did take it down to camp once & off roaded it...that was fun! It is performed flawlessly...wasn't fun to clean afterwards though! Lol
No, it doesn't have the super charger on it. It was like another $12k and it's pretty snappy as is. Guess HP is in the neighborhood of 425 with the Roush cold air & exhaust to let er breath a little better.
Yeah I get it...Growing up Pops had a 72 Ford F100 with the original 390 in it....bed was rusted out, you could see the road through the rust holes at your feet & the gas tank was behind the seat! Lol It was a 2 door! So yeah I get it...

Yeah that 5.0L Coyote is fantastic! Plenty of power, great exhaust note, lots of fun! Enjoy your Roush!
still planning on owning one if things fall into place accordingly haha glad you took the time for the review 🤙
Thanks for watching! Hope it helps you with your decision!

They are definitely fun truck! & The exhaust note is definitely top notch!
I have a 22 roush f150. I agree with the exhaust for sure. I also think for the insane price, it ought to be supercharged.

I'll have to look into it....have my 15K review coming out soon
Cool review. I like your old mirrors better too. And I love the new exhaust quiet feature.
It's definitely a nice feature! Thanks for watching! 😆
Just bought one today. So far so good. Hopefully, I dont come to regret the price.

Noise is still there. Btw
Been no issues like that with mine...I'd definitely push them to figure it out & makes things right!!
@@rpdobbler I agree. Unfortunately they have had it the shop for weeks and told me ford says the noise from the “driveshaft” is normal!
I really like mine I drove it from California to North Dakota I'm going to see how it drives on snow and ice This year And nice video

They're selling in the 70s and mid 60s (don't know if that's a dealer trick) now for the natural 5.0
@@SylentONE supercharged ones are more
I wouldn't buy a v6 raptor over a v8 especially a 5.0 but that's just me
Fuck a raptor! I have the whipple on my 21 Roush F150 with a 900hp tune...I'll keep that as my daily any day of the week over a raptor

I thought you were about to say at the end...BTW this truck is not for sale...lol. Cool review Matt. Such an awesome truck man..
Everything is for sale for the right price! I just hope tree doesn't fall on it! Lol
Still a badass truck bruh!👍🏿
Great video 👍 I was thinking about getting the active exhaust for my truck but was worried it's not aggressive enough
It all just depends on what you want. It's definitely a pretty awesome exhaust note IMO. Search my channel for the exhaust note vs my 2017 exhaust note. I have several videos on it.
I have one, but I think I’m still missing my tundra. I can’t figure if it’s what I wanted. I think I’m getting ride of to get a trail boss 6.2
Trail Boss is an awesome truck...
I bet you in Forscan you can enable the marker lights as DRLs.
I'll have to look into that

Never had that happen with mine yet, I'll have to pay more attention
Beautiful truck but for $20k extra you should get a supercharger. I may just go with an XLT and add a whipple to make a sleeper.
True that...this truck is a bit more "in your face" than a sleeper. But to each their own. I'm definitely a big fan of the sleepers
My roush was a sport .

I'm a jeep guy too! I drove a TJ for 12 years! Still miss that thing!
You should convince Shoestring to make tree air freshener that have his scent, so you can smell him every time you get in your truck
I like that idea! He could call it creosote & deet! I'll definitely mention it to him! Lol 😆 🤣

Did this truck come with 20 inch rims? Or 18?
20"s
Just 5400!?! Would have figured you had twice that already 😂🤣
I really only drive it to work & around town...I did take it down to camp once & off roaded it...that was fun! It is performed flawlessly...wasn't fun to clean afterwards though! Lol
What dealer?
Montrose Ford in Akron, they are the top Roush dealer in Ohio. Great service
@@rpdobbler got the salesman name? I’ll reach out
@@krychy his name was Chris "Roz" Rozsnaki....I was pretty happy with him.
Does this have the 700HP

Avalanche gray AKA primer gray.
True dat...I've always like primer grey....CZcams this truck with my primer grey 66 Fairlane
Sounds like this give should have just bough a different truck “It’s kind of a wash” lol. Jesus…
Personally I don’t care for 4 doors on a Truck.

had the two door super cab lariut, glad to have the 4 door now-2020 roush
Lol dude your getting very picky with your disslikes,i suggest selling it and buying a 2017 version
😆 🤣 I really REALLY loved that 2017...I mean really loved it! Lol
Would it really set off car alarms?? How is that even possible?!? This is the coolest truck I've ever seen
I've never heard of a roush truck until watching this video right now badass
How did you old one set off car alarms how is that even possible?!?
