Yeah I’d love to have this experience as a long time fan but the fanbase is absolutely awful. So much vitriol being put towards contestants this season, especially Maria. People are acting like she shot charlie and called venus a slur or something. You don’t have to love her but do you really have to iterate your disdain for her over and over again on every platform you can think of? Over shit she did in a game show? And she’s not the only one - people making racist/body shaming comments to Soda, people making up fake DM screenshots to make Charlie look like a pedophile, people showing up randomly at Kenzies salon like stalkers? These people need to be put in witness protection or something.

I loved Survivor 46 so much (more than 45 tbh). The amount of crazy chaotic contestants this season was incredible. Q, Liz, Venus, and even Maria made this season for me. My biggest complaint is that we should have gotten more Nami content pre-merge. I know they didn't actually lose any contests, but the fact that we didn't even know that Liz hated Soda until her boot episode is not good. We could've easily cut some content from a certain contestant and I don't think anyone would've minded...

I wish they would've built up Austin a bit more as a contender by giving him more personal content that didn't involve Dee considering he got votes at the end. He kinda just got relegated to confessionals about advantages, journeys, things directly related to advantages/journeys (sandwich-gate), or Dee. An unfortunate edit for runner-up imo.

I honestly wish I liked this season more, but it fell so flat for me. I just wasn’t invested until Q did his quit thing and didn’t go home time and time again, for me this season had a month of solid episodes at merge but otherwise I just didn’t connect with the way the cast played

There was a lot of bad stretches during this season that get overlooked because of how crazy the cast is or the idol stuff. But I loved that stretch from the Tevin vote out to the Tiffany boot. So so so good. I’m curious to see how this season will be remembered as we move past it. Will people enjoy it more in retrospect or enjoy it less?

I don't think she stands a chance against Charlie or Kenzie, but per interviews she wasn't this Dan Hibiki joke player. The moment Liz says she was the biggest threat and we cut to the jury, Venus is the only one having any reaction, all the others are just listening.

And I think Liz played a pretty solid game, much better than Ben, Q, Venus, Tiffany, etc. but I don’t think she had any respect from the jury and why I think she just lacked self awareness overall

I agree that the finale was pretty weak especially after such a dynamic and engaging post merge, but I vibed with Kenzie and had been rooting for her since the premerge so I was higher on the ending than you. Also had Tiffany as my winner pick going in haha.

To me Survivor 46 is better than 45 , in 45 you have the clearly front runner Dee , and no one have the guts to take her out , even when they tried people just don’t have the balls to go through it , the winner was so clear by the time Emily goes home it was like watching how others would lose rather than who is going to strike the big blindside . 46 was super super unpredictable and it made it more intriguing and fun to watch , although the premerge was one of the worst , post Bhanu was elite !!

I haven't been as in touch with survivor, I've watched cagayan, both blood vs waters, cook islands and tocentines and that's about it. I know everything about the show from yt channels and clips but from what I can tell this season was good but the winner was a bit underwhelming from what I can tell. Definitely a more emotionally driven winner over a strategic one
I want to bring attention to Venus because surprisingly enough she reminds me of Emily but if Emily didn't have Kaleb thats what Venus reminds me of
Randen was Venus’s Kaleb but he didn’t last nearly as long as Kaleb
