I think the blue one doesnât have that much green pigment because blue and turquoise hair often turn green after time, so with adding more blue it will take it back to turquoise.

I think that makes total sense since the product description on the site says it's for maintaining and refreshing your color.

As far as the turquoise conditioner. I think it's deeper. Because it's enhanced the blue in the turquoise. Because after a while turquoise fades more green. Like a seafoam green or mint. Just speaking from doing my hair variations of blue for 10 years.
The ginger conditioner would actually be great for natural ginger hair too! To just brighten it up đ

Maybe the turquoise conditioner is more blue because they know the blue fades from the turquoise faster than the green(yellow)? Therefore if as it fades it remains greenish, adding a new layer of blue would refresh it to its original turquoise. Just a thought đ€·đŒââïžđ€Ł

I think the conditioner for the turquoise is so blue because usually when turquoise fades out of the hair it stays mostly green and the blue goes away. The conditioner probably restores the green color back to a turquoise shade

It probably feels like that because it has silicone in both the dye and the conditioner, unlike most semi-permanent dyes. They coat the hair to make them feel more slick and look more shiny.
I'm so glad I ordered these. Colourpop usually never fails. I got the turquoise and the purple one so I'm now even more excited to get themđ
the real test would be putting the conditioner over the dyed tests to see how it would mimic in real life.
Theory about why the turquoise conditioner is different: maybe as the dye fades it fades green, so the maintenance puts the blue back in?
I mean this as the biggest compliment but those little horn almost look natural on you! So cute and fitting for your style. Also living for this brown/warm Smokey makeup look. Making me even more excited for fall.
I ordered the peach conditioner and Iâm so glad I did! I donât need the tint because I get my hair dyed at a salon but wanted a refresh in between visits, so Iâm glad the peach conditioner is most similar to my color! These tints and conditioners are stunning!

That's probably why they made the turquoise conditioner so blue, if the dye/tint fades yellowy. It kinda makes sense for maintenance.
The blue that the conditioner turned out is almost exactly my current blue colour! I was just thinking that I need to figure out what Iâm going to do with my hair before going back to work in September. I have the ends of my hair blue and rest black but the black has faded and my roots are super grown out. I absolutely love the look of this turquoise and Iâm definitely getting the conditioner!

I randomly saw this hair dye and was thinking if I could use it as a youngish women with greys I don't want a dye that drys out my hair. So I decided to come on yt to see if anyone had used it yet but I didn't expect the queen of hair dye to have done a video đ thanks

Maybe they have the turquoise dye to give a true blue-green color but then for touch ups, the turquoise conditioner is less green to help beat some of that green that starts to show more? Idk!!
Do a short to prove the teory about the blue conditioner, and use it on a green base to see if it turns out turquoise..

I recon the blue pigment in the turquoise rinses out of the hair more quickly than the yellow/green based dyes. Ontop of the fact that any toner on the hair will also be washing out too.

Turquoise is a combination of green and blue. Used together should create a perfect turquoise. These look like fun. I get my hair done by me colourista with a deep brown base and purple with extra developments . I am an artist so see every potential in mixing colours. Such a fun thing. Great 8nformative video.
I copper color honestly reminds me of the John Frieda Radiant Red color glazes that were really big in the 2000s!
You should get a silicon placemat so your table doesnât get messed up! Maybe you could find a white one and itâd show the colours even better!

I would say that the color conditioner from the turquoise shade is more blue because turquoise can fade to a very ugly green so this prevents that to happen!

I'm watching this and really wanting to dye my hair now. I've used color depositing conditioner before, but I really want to do something different with my hair and ColourPop killed it with this dye.
I'd use the chestnut conditioner with the dye for making highlights

my hair was naturally that rust brown color growing up and I miss it so much
I added my red back to my hair lol đ next need to make the dark mahogany chocolate brown either put darkest blue or blue black or soft black .... or get a brown black
aving the past experience of wearing turquoise hair... Blue conditioner makes the most sense to refresh the pigment. It tends to turn green and you have to keep replenishing the blue pigmentation. đâïžđ

You had me at "Ooohhhh bish." I gotta say, I'm really loving this channel. So, I get that the blue dye and conditioner are two different colors entirely, but you did say that the conditioner was for maintenance. It's possible that you get the turquoise color that you're looking for when the conditioner is used over the original tint to make the color pop. Turquoise fades fast.

Wonder if they did that with the turquoise because everyone complains about how green colors like that and teal turn when they fade? So they formulated the maintenance conditioner to be blue to help keep the color a little more true to original as the green tones tend to last longer since these colors frequently go over a yellow toned hair. Does that make sense? Lol

Itâs interesting how there is still some difference in tone between the neon peach tint and conditioner in your blogging camera. The conditioner swatch appears to be a more pinky tone. I would definitely love to try the turquoise, it is like the perfect jewel tone.
I think the blue fades faster and green stays longer so to keep the color true maybe keeping up with the blue is the best way to have it stay turquoise and not too green
