  • Two common edging techniques for beaded medallions and earrings.
    Supplies Used:
    🌿 Pellon (72f)
🌿 Fireline Smoke Thread (6 lb)
🌿 Blue Seed Beads (size 8)
    🌿 Beading Needle (size 12)
Here's a list of beading supplies must haves if you're just getting started. You can always substitute items, but you'll never go wrong with a pair of sharp scissors and good thread.
All you really need is some pellon/felt, needles, thread, and beads to get started, but listed below are some of the beading supplies that I use.

Thank you so very much for sharing. I am making a drawstring bag with stitches my momma taught me. She is 99 and I am honored to look after her. She gave me the material and threads. I wanted to bead around the entire bag. Beading truly is medicine. Thank you again. This bag that I am making is truly a precious project and now I can add the beading. Peace, strength, healing and gratitude to you and yours. ❤️🪶

Ok. As a white woman, would it be considered appropriation if I took up this craft but used different types of designs? I have always been in love with this craft but too scared to try anything for fear of doing something wrong and possibly offending anyone .
