I Have a question for you since you are the manufacturer. If I hook up a higher resolution camera for the rear (back up) camera will it record in the higher resolution? 480P is just no enough. 720p would be fine but 480 is not acceptable.
I'm not the manufacturer, I'm just sharing my experience with this dashcam.
480p is the default resolution for the rear cam. I've already hooked up a 720p rear cam with the same wire harness and it didn't work.

Hello, I really liked your video and I want to ask 2 things, how did you get the rear camera to record without having to change to reverse the car and can you improve the audio? I would appreciate your response, greetings!
The dual recording function is automatic, all you have to do is select witch second camera you want ( interior, or rear) in the menu.
The audio sounds good compared to other mirror dashcam i have. And there is no possibility to improve it from the camera settings.

The rear cam will continuously show unless the red.wire is comnected to the rear brake lights.

The problem is I have to format everytime when memory is full

It should be connected to the reverse light wire if you want to use the dashcam as a bacup camera.

Good day King ABS. I would like to ask if you encountered:
1. "damaged video file" while browsing videos in dashcam? I bought the same Camera but it has "damaged file" to some videos.
2. I tried setting up the dashcam but when it is off for a period of time, it goes back to default setting. Every setting i did goes back to default when turning off and turning on the device.
No. The only problem I had with this dashcam is the auto recording don't start automatically sometimes (but not often) and it says *format your sd card* except that the quality of the videos is far superior than many other devices I tested.

How to fix please format the sd card

If not you should change the sd card.
If not you may have a faulty device.

You connect it to your reverse light on the back of your taillight. You have to splice them together. After you do that, itll turn on when you put your vehicle in reverse.

Hello... My dash cam is just like this but I'm unable to get the menu for some reason... There are a few things I want to fix like the automatic shut off and it only records to about 2 minutes and restarta from 0 seconds again. I have tried holding down the button, just clicking the button as well. I just can't seem to figure out how to bring up the menu

Hi. 5 minutes is the longest recording cycle you can use.
just asking ifi this cam.cannot record the whole duration while you are driving? only 5mins and it turns off?
@@arnelmanitojr7835 It record in cycle mode. For example, if your driving duration is 30 minutes and the setting is 5 minute cycle, then you will have 6 videos. It will record your driving continuously but will save the video every 5 minutes. But it depends on the product it self. If its offer 30 minutes recording cycle, then you will only have 1 video. But, for this dash cam the longest recording cycle is 5 minutes.

Yes you can turn on parking mode and motion detection in Menu. But you'll need to buy a hardwire kit separately .

Press stop recording button. Then long press menu button. In the menu there will be an option to adjust date time.

I bought one too. Press and hold the M button for around 30 seconds and the setting options will appear

Merci pour votre commentaire. L'enregistrement se lance automatiquement une fois l'appareil est allumé. Pour l'arrêter il suffit tout simplement d'appuyer sur le bouton On/Off . Pour prendre une photo appuyez sur une des flèches (droite ou gauche ) je ne me rappelle pas bien , (je n'ai jamais pris des photos honnêtement .)

How do I know cam is recording. Orange slow blinking dot in upper left hand of stops blinking after five minutes, and have to press OK a gain to start? Want to record when ever driving?
It should record automatically . Reset the camera and format the sd card then try again.
How has this unit held up over time? Any issues?
Still working good. Sometimes it freezes due to many locks on the sd card but it not that bad.

Hey. No firmware update needed. It record and save videos automatically in 3 folders (front back and inside) make sure to enable *dual camera* in menu option
mine too, only record 2 channels. front recorded on folder 1. rear or cabin (depends on active select) recorded on folder 2.

Does it have built in battery? Because I dont trust built in batteries it may explode and burn the whole car while im away.
Im having problem with mine, everytime i put on reverse. The display on the monitor wont comeback to the front cam and inside of the car view. It's just stucked on front cam + back cam view. Is that normal? I need to put it on back to my desired view manually (front cam+inside car view)
Check the connection to the reverse light bro.you may not getting g the signal.
If not then just use it as it's a cheap Chinese product

Is it normal that the screen will be blank after 3 minutes driving on road? How to set the screen always on during driving?
It's normal but if you want the screen always on,go to Menu / Screen Brightness and choose On.
Advice :
The screen should be set to turn off after minutes to prevent the unit from overheating (the battery is right behind the screen inside the camera and it get really hot in summer days)

Search on Amazon or Ebay.....for *Dashcam Hardwire Kit* and install it directelly to a constant 12v fuse in your car's fuse box (it comes with all instructions you'll need)
You can set it to where the motion detection will automatically turn it on and record and even lock the video. It will do the same if someone hits your car at night. You have to have your park camera option on.

I have the same question. Sometimes its a really good quality at night and number plates are able to see, but it is being blured in a few seconds (like changing focus on camera)

Red wire should be connected to the 12v reverse light wire to be able to see reverse lines on your camera screen.
You can leave it disconnected if you want and use your screen camera normally when backing up.
