1. Hillclimb GHD Podnanos 2022 | Crash & On The Limit

We have another brand new venue for a hillclimb event in Slovenia, and it's called GHD Podnanos Šraml! A very fast and twisty track at the same time, very intense and the drivers like it a lot. Despite another hillclimb race going on at the same time in Cividale the podium here was all Italian: Fausto Bormolini (Reynard K02) was the winner with a total time of 3:52.821, and Federico Liber (Wolf GB08 F Mistral) was just 4.5 seconds behind him. Both of them reached the finish line in under 2 minutes in a single run which indicates that the 4.7km long track is quite fast! In 3rd place was Renzo Napione (Reynard K02) with a time of 4:15.989. The fastest in the Slovenian championship was Matej Grudnik with his highly modified AWD Renault Clio, looks like it's properly dialed in this time because it was insanely fast, not too far behind the Italian drivers in the open wheelers!
Thanks to Ajdovščina Motorsport, Šraml and all the sponsors for making this race happen! They did an amazing job for the first ever race on this track and we're sure that the drivers and the spectators will keep coming back to this great hillclimb event.
