- Today's video is my entrance speed build in Animal Crossing New Horizons. My new theme is a mystical 4 seasons island, whereas this entrance is the witchy part with lots of dark and glowing items. I hope you enjoy!

I've been spending a lot of time on happy home paradise so my island doesn't really have a theme yet. Some of my favorite items from the new update are the vines and the glowing moss and all the ruins stuff. This video has really inspired me and I think I might do some thing similar, not so much the witchy four seasons theme, but like an overgrown ruins theme... so thank you for the ideas!

Oh I hear you on the frame rate drops, they're maddening! It's starting to happen on my current island, so I'm going to do a little item/code clean up later! This build came out so beautiful, I love the ruined items on the beach, just gorgeous

I'm so glad I found this video, thanks to my brother. I just flattened out and made my island completely bare. And this video gave me insparation to make my own entrance!!! Plus I have the same island river layout so this makes me feel more confindent
Just an advice my first island lagged so much and I first thought it was because of the items I placed, but it was because of the amount of codes I had on the island D: I just hope yours doesn't lag anymore uwu the entrance is so pretty *^*
That makes so much sense, but is also heartbreaking because custom codes are one of my favourite things about the game!
How many codes did you have :( mine is doing this too and I assumed it was the furniture

I could never do something this elaborate, my brain doesn't function that way. I only really started terraforming a few weeks ago, after playing for a year and a half. I just never knew where to begin. I have ideas, but don't know how to get from where I am now to that point.
Then I just started. I terraformed a section for my museum, one layer up with a third layer and random waterfalls around it. I then placed my shops on a layer. The two shops and the museum were previously in one straight line in front of my resident services. The layer with the shops on it forms one of the sides for my bridge entrance. I really love it so far, even though the decoration isn't where I want it to be. Just some trees, bushes and rocks.
But I learned from that to just start terraforming. Just go. Nothing is permanent and can be changed. I actually really enjoyed it once I started.

Oh hello, this theme is so right up my alley, thank you youtube for this random recommendation! Wonderful build, and the theme of the island is really intriguing. I had to watch the trailer you mentioned and I'm definitely interested! Subbing to keep up with this!
Once you started decorating the beach, I took notice of how the weird shape of it was similar to my island. I also realized that it was in to the same side of the airport as mine. I then waited for you to show the resident services, and honestly? I think we got the same island. This is giving me inspiration, since if you're capable of molding that island to something this beautiful, then I should be able to do the same!
This is by far the most unique and ambitious island theme I've seen. Looking forward to seeing you pull it off!

Loooove it! I just started playing in December so I’m anxiously awaiting all of the items such as the moon and seasonal star fragments. But I also don’t want to rush the experience. I love this game so much, the possibilities are endless, and your builds are making my wheels turn! Sparksby! Were you reading my mind?! Before, (on my old island, cause I restarted now because of 2.0) i really wanted to make a witchy, vibe. And this is exactly what I was thinking of! But now i restarted, i’m making an abandoned japanese island. Also, the time should be dawn! Because at dawn, it’s a little dark, half morning, and there’s still stars! Perfect build and time!

My Pagan ass has been wanting to make a witchy themed island, or at least home, for awhile... This has definitely given me some ideas! Now to actually get the items I need... 😬
I restarted the island on my second switch because of 2.0- originally I was intending to do something very small town-y (like, somewhere between cottagecore and urban core islands), and I really struggled with it because it's so far from the normal natural/cottagecore builds I do. I never really liked the faux buildings people did for town and urban islands. But when 2.0 dropped and I saw some of these items, I immediately pivoted to a witchy island with medieval influences and a small town. There's the town center, I'm planning to make it look like a long established town that's been there for centuries, there's a little farm area, and in the back right corner, there's the damaged castle that houses a cursed princess (extra character) and the dragon that guards the castle (Drago), and then the upper left quadrant of the map is the forbidden enchanted forest and the witch that the townsfolk whisper about (main character). It's leaning on a good bit of visual storytelling and it's still in the early stages, but I'm so excited about it.
All this to say- I love this entrance and it's really inspiring to me. Especially the power circle, I've been brainstorming something like that to have in the magic forest and I adore how you did it.

You can eat fruit or any of the food items and then you can pick up entire trees or also destroy the rocks you have on your island 🥰

Lovely build, but watching you dig a hole before planting a flower hurt me 😂 just stand exactly on the spot you want the flower and it’ll go there with no need to dig
Omg haha! I know, don't worry! I more just do that to test if a flower can even be planted! Often times I have items on half tiles or have a leftover code or something and by digging the hole I make sure the floer goes exactly where I want it 😂

avoid putting too much custom designs. it makes your island pretty laggy, along with adding lots of items in an area
