This Video log is all about the ChennaiDay Celebration on 20, 21 Aug 2022.
Every year August 22 is celebrated as Madras Day. Aug 22, 1639, the foundation of our Singara Chennai, the Modern city, was laid by the East India Company by buying land for building Fort St George from local rulers.
This year marks the 383rd anniversary of the foundation of the city.
This 2 days event was organized by Greater Chennai Corporation.
It was a grand festival, where almost 50 stalls were there with vaiety of foods, traditional games, play area for kids, stage performance with many competitions and fun filling events were also conducted.
This celebration was started from the year 2004.
